bottle 10/2/12. it is certainly amber colored...clear, with a small tannish head. strangely fruity aroma...akin to fermented oj and apple juice...mixed with grain and sweet-less brown sugar. the flavor is the same but it has an odd sourness which mixes with malt notes...not sure if i can like this enough to finish it...

Not awful. Ok pour but not much of an aroma. It’s an amber what can i say? Fairly smooth - little bitterness in the end. Ehh

12 oz bottle from Party Source from notes. Pours a clear amber color with a small, fizzy, off white head. The aroma and flavor is bready malts with light caramel, mild floral hops, doughy yeast with light notes of apples and a slight metallic finish. Light bodied. Not much to get excited about here.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a light red body with a two and half finger head. Some carbonation is seen rising. The smell had some light caramel, malts, slight subdued weird "cherry" (I wonder where that is coming from). The taste had a sweet combination through previously mentioned flavors. On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium, sessionable. Carbonation is slightly felt. Overall, this is a standard Vienna Lager other than the smell. Ill come back to when I find it fresher.

Pours a slightly hazy amber with a thin creamy tan head. Nice lacing. Aroma is slight malt and toast. Flavor is somewhat bland and a bit overly bitter. Very dry. Medium bodied. Decent beer.

Cinnamon sweet and slightly fruity. Smooth earthy taste. Not bad. Had this on draft at tommyknocker brewpub.

12 oz bottle. Amber reddish appearance and hazy with a dissipating, off-white head. Aroma and flavor is mostly malty with toffee, bread/toast, caramel and light chocolate. Medium sweetness and light bitterness.

Backlog, from notes. Bottle bought @ the brewpub in Phoenix, AZ, enjoyed 13 June 2001 in the Gila National Forest. Amber color, caramel and malts in the aroma, mild sweet flavor. Decent, but not memorable.

12 oz bottle served in a pint glass. Pours a nice amber color; hazy with a 1+ finger off-white head that has good retention and lacing. The aroma is pleasing. As expected, it features light and medium malt but with a touch of spicy hops. The promise of hops is mostly unfulfilled in tasting, where we have an unflawed but rather tame and mediocre amber lager that could pass for a good macro-brew. {from Sept. 2011 notes}

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2014 I enjoyed this beer. A nice malty taste with a little bitterness at the end.
