Shared by martjoobolut, thanks! Goledn beer, medium white head. Nose has sweet and grassy notes along with malt. Flavor is malt, grainy sweetness, water, mild hops, chalk. Thin and grainy, not for me

500ml bottle from Tesco - Hazy yellow body, pillowy white head that went in no time. Citrus nose, with an orangey taste and medium body. Not that bad, but rather boring.

Bottle, from Tesco. Faintly hazy gold, thin shortlived white head and gentle condition. Pleasant but muted orange citrus and a gentle maltiness in the nose. Soft in the mouth with an initial slightly honeyed malty sweetness and a spicy citrus hop resin note. Low chalkiness in the finish before the citrus hop note returns and lingers into the end.

Fairly pleasurable ’middle of the road’ pale ale. Light straw colour in appearance. Didnt taste as strong as the 5% ABV would suggest. Neither hops or malt jumped out at me. Would be a good induction ale for lager drinkers!

Bottled, 500ml from Stan’s Nisa, Llangollen, Wales. Pale gold with white head. Sweet, quite corn like flavours right from the start, syrupy, grainy notes. There is a slight resinous note about it later on. Not for me.

Bottle from K&G. Tasty, nice complexity for a golden ale. Aromas of hay, wet leaves, and some nuttiness. Taste is sweet, with sour notes, and average length. Palate is oily, and medium bodied. Blonde, with a frohy head.

Clear but flat looking golden ale with an extremely sweet aroma. Sweet tasting with a slight cinnamon spicy edge to it.
