3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Cheers in Mumbles.
Appearance - amber with a decent head.
Nose - sweet malt and light toffee.
Taste - hint of nuts but mainly light toffee and grainy malt.
Palate - light bodied, with a light creamy texture and while the palate is light and dry it is for some reason not that refreshing.
Overall - very grainy.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear, lively red/amber pint with a thin white head. Smells sweet, fruit and caramel. Taste is very pleasant. A bit of fruit, maybe apple, some caramel, a touch of bitterness in there to to balance it. Reasonable body to it and the flavour lingers quite nicely too. very drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled, 500ml from Stan’s Nisa, Llangollen, Wales. Ruby amber with white head. This was a cut above the other bottled Tomos Watkin beers I have had recently, it is smooth, malty with a cooked caramel sweetness but with the advantage of a light, earthy hop note for some balance. Good depth, slightly honeyed in character. Reasonable.
