A rich red premium cask ale produced using pale ale, crystal and wheat malt. A full fruity/citrus hop flavour of willamette and fuggle with the light aroma of goldings.

500ml bottle. Gold with a thick cream head; caramel and malt aromas; similar flavours, but over-pasteurised giving an unappealling jammy, stewed fruit effect; slightly bitter finish, but mainly leaving a burnt caramel after-taste. Not pleasant.

Purs a clear brownish amber. Smell is bready, somewhatmalty. A bit fizzy in the mouth. kinda bland, crispy beer. Fruity with few hops. Nothing spectacular but not bad, just average. B-

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a small head. Aroma is very honey sweet and toffee. Flavour is sweet honey. It is too sweey and quite thin.

THOUGHTS: Nice beer, but very middle of the road in every category. Good in every category, but not very strong in flavor or aroma. Not very memorable. Nothing string, but very well balanced. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, medium orange with nice carbonation and an average to large, slightly off-white head that mostly lasted. The aroma was light toasted and caramel malt, light hops, light earthy yeast and a little lemon. The initial flavor was light to moderately sweet and lightly acidic; while the finish was lightly sweet, moderately acidic, light to moderately bitter and a little sour with an average. duration. There was light caramel malt, some toastiness and then it started to taste like tea with lemon then a little bitter hops popped up in the finish. The medium body was sort of watery with fizzy carbonation and a metallic finish.

This bottle brew from Indianapolis, IN poured a small sized head of foamy off-white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a hazy orange brown colored softly carbonated body and a poor lacing. The aroma was a simple mild malt hop one. The mouth feel was strongly tingly from start to finish. The flavor was of soft malts and medium crisp hops.

Bottle. Light brown small head that mostly expired, virtually no lacing, very little carbonation, and an orange golden hue. The aroma was malt, weak hoppiness, bitter, and some caramel. The flavor was light bitter, malt and some hops. Rather dull and boring. Tingly mouthfeel and medium bodied. This beer was not a palate pleaser for me and it’s a beer that easily forgettable for me. Next!

Bottle. Pours amber with good offwhite head. Interesting aroma, full of cocoa and yeastiness. Flavours have a spicy edge as well, hints of rye, in addition to the cocoa. Medium body. A nice surprise.

Tasted 5/24/08. 500ml bottle. Filtered and amber. Clinging lacing off-white head. Similar grainy nose. Brownie cocoa aromas with a touch bready. Medium bodied with an odd citrus flavor. Caramel and cocoa flavor. Mild effervescence and good tingling note. Dry and bitter. Classic taste. Little light on the body, but hella session!

Pour is a orange with a whtie head. Aroma is of sweet malts and a little mustyness. Flavor is some dark malts and a bit of caramel. I really could not tell the difference between this beer and the bitter i had from this brewer about 15 minutes ago. Both were watery and boring.
