Bottled. Tasting @ Kolding Bryglaug. Weak hoppy aroma with some maltiness. Bit hazy, golden-copper coloured with an off-white head. Taste is sweet, bit bitter, hoppy. Some nutty maltiness. Uninteresting.

Pour is lightly hazed caramel colored with a tiny off white head...smell is toasty and very sweet and malty with lots of toasty bread crumbs...taste is lightly sweet with some bread crumb flavor, but overall it is really just sweet and thin...

Bottle. Nice clear orange/copper with a big, puffy head that fades and leaves good lacing. Grassy hops and some light fruit notes in the aroma. Some caramel malt in the flavor with a light/med body and a slightly bitter and metallic finish. OK

Bottle. Brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is quite creamy and dry and the flavour is slightly dry with hints of chocolate and toffee. Overall a nice average beer.

In the bottle at the Hy Vee Oktoberfest beer tasting 2008. Pours dark gold with a think white head. Has a great honey aroma. Thin in body with a slightly lemon taste. Not smoothly mild, but rather just weakly watery in body.

(Bottle) Light copper color with a small stable lid of cream colored bubbles. LIghtly toasted floor malt. Hints of dry grass and flowers. Light caramel sweet malt start. More nutty in the middle with almonds and walnuts. Fairly bitter and dry in the finish and linger. Fairly standard bitter.

Bottle and served in pint glass: Clean rich golden hue with a nice foamy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of grassy and herbal hops, dry and heathery esters, lots of pale Maris Otter malt, and some apple fruit esters. The taste is a straight forward mix of mild bitters and mild malt that is easy going and session worthy. A moderate fruity twang perks up the profile. Nothing that requires much thought and finished short and fleeing on the palate. Okay stuff and I would like to try on cask.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2007 Bottle (500ml). Shared with LagerLoather, his bottle. Clear amber, looks a little like weak tea average creamy-foamy beige head. Light aroma, iced tea and light floral hops, quite fresh and very malty. Taste - simple, refreshing, not too demanding - like iced tea with a touch of lemon, tannic on the back of the tongue, light herbal hops in the malty finish. The body is just right - malty but light, medium astringency, light and quick finish - very nice, sessionable - will look for this on tap in England (cask, anyone?)
