3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Pours a clear copper amber, with a small off-white head, which does not last very well, but leaves reasonable lace. The aromas has some candied fruit and toffee notes and faint floral hops. Floral hops up front lead into some plum and candied fruit notes. Toffee comes in towards the finish. A sweeter-style bitter, but nevertheless a very satisfying beer at the end of a very long day.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home from notes. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. Aroma was mainly, caramel, some nutty character and fruity hops. The flavor opens with light toasted malts, caramel and fruit. A slight cardboard note, mild bitterness soon follows. This is just ok. Medium bodied, smooth and not to be revisited.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber with a modest off-white head that lasts well. Floral aroma with some citrus and spices, caramel, light bread. Sweet with more bread than caramel, vague fruity notes, some mild roasty notes: interesting and slightly rustic malt side of thing. Dryish and quite bitter with pepper at the end. A pretty good best bitter.
