A copper coloured beer with the aroma of honey. It has a full and smooth flavour and a soft, flowing aftertaste.

An authentic abbey ale
The age-old tradition of the White Canons of Tongerlo lives on in this officially recognised Belgian abbey ale.

Re-fermented in the bottle
Re-fermentation in the bottle gives the beer a more intense taste and aroma as well as a longer shelf life.

Correct, though quite unsurprising. It’s a decent beer, pleasant malt taste overall, but the aftertaste could have been better. At least it has the merits to be here! Rather simple beside that, can’t say much more on it. Average pub beer overall. APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW!

Una Belgian Ale de color dorado y alta carbonatación. Su aroma es a levadora y Malta con toques frutales dulces y cítricos. Su sabor es a Malta tostada, con un dejo cítrico y un amargor equilibrado. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Color dorado, translúcido, con capa de espuma de dos dedos de grosor (buena retención). Carbonatación a tope. Aroma levadura, mínimo. Sabor a malta y también levadura, amargo y ligeramente dulce. Interesante.

A surprise discovery, along with its tripel cousin, at Welcome in Muzha. Drunk in time-honoured fashion at home. Aroma: predominantly yeasty. Appearance: clear, copper-coloured. A foamy pour; frothy, persistent head. medium-bodied, bitter and astringent. Taste: there’s a sweet element in there, but it doesn’t last. This is decent but not particularly memorable.

Keg tap at Bedford Brewhouse & Kitchen. Golden, clear with a small white head. Quite a lot of carbonation. Yeasty sugar candy aroma with a bit of citrus. Taste starts off a bit sharp but then mellows. There’s a metallic, astringent aftertaste and the body is quite thin. Has quite a few issues but OK overall I guess.

Good lacing, pale yellow head with amber appearance. Aroma of banana, sweet malt. The taste is unexpected. Would recommend to my friends as it is too sweet.

Decent but not great. Too sweet. A little bubble gummy. No bitterness to balance it out. Kind of disappointed.
