COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A copper coloured beer with the aroma of honey. It has a full and smooth flavour and a soft, flowing aftertaste.

An authentic abbey ale
The age-old tradition of the White Canons of Tongerlo lives on in this officially recognised Belgian abbey ale.

Re-fermented in the bottle
Re-fermentation in the bottle gives the beer a more intense taste and aroma as well as a longer shelf life.

Very nice aroma of very ripe fruits. But the rest is less than average. Golden/orange color, off-white frothy head, fair lace. Strange disappointing taste, syrupy, hopbitter, light fruity. Long bitter and sparkling finish.

The first thing that strikes me in this beer is the dry and a bit sour flavour. After a bit of getting used to is is quite enjoyable, overall not a great beer however.

Draught, De Pub, Bruges. Slight haze to this golden coloured beer with a thinnish frothy shortlived head. Lemony, oily hops and I get a perfumed, sweaty flavour. Probably best cold in warmer conditions but drinkable

Hazy orange color, short frothy white head. Aroma is dusty, herbal, some hops. Taste of faint spices, dry, hopbitter. Dry watery palate. Typical tongerlo brew.

Bottle. Hazy golden yellow, small white head. Sweetly alcoholic aroma, touch of grain. Dry alcohol balances grainy malt sweetness. Abrupt finish. Ok, but a bit boring and bland. Average palate.

This beer has a yellow body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is sweet en fruity.

Light orange colored, little white head. Spicy, fruity and somehow yeasty aroma. Medium bodied, crispy carbonation. Flavor is also nicely spicy with caramel and yeast. Aftertaste lasts with carbonated touch. Basic Belgian ale.

Aroma is pale malts, buttery at times, hints of lemon. Taste is similar agauin buttery alcohol not very well hidden but a decnet hop character redimes it slightly.
