UPDATED: JAN 8, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) Dark brownish with a touch of red. Off-white head. A Dubbel on the dry side with the caramel sweetness well balanced out. A good choice if in a pub with nothing more substantial. 040893

Bottled. Dark ruby red colour, beige mediumsized head, lacing. Aroma is grassy hoppy along with some sweetness. Flavour is very bitter caramel, which makes a strange result. Some watery plum in aftertaste, with also smoked cigarrettes, old coffee and hay. Watery palate. Feels unbalanced.

fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2003
Amber color. Nice aroma, fruity (banana, peach), spices. Good body strength, malty, spicy. Tastes like a Tripel, but it's a Brune!
