3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Beautiful rough frothy ale which secrete a good aroma of spicy hops. The taste is not quite as expected soft and fine like a typical blonde ale, but it is more pronounced spiciness of something that I think reminiscent of orange peel and apricot. Good fruit sweetness that never takes too much.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
spruce, citrus, floral, orange, cloudy, rocky head, medium sweetness, lightly sour, medium body, sticky. Deep orange, cloudy with a substantial rocky head of foam. Spicy, hoppy aroma. Sweet, fruity taste. Quite sticky on the lips, almost distractingly so. Overall a very nice beer to sip on, but the sweetness/stickiness would prevent me from asking for another.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copenhagen 13/11 2014. 75 cl bottle from FaktaQuick. Pours clear reddish brown with white head. Dissipates rather quickly. Spicy malty aroma tinged with alcohol. Medium carbonation. Intense sweet taste in the traditional yeasty Belgian style with a little sourness especially in the aftertaste. Good Belgian Christmas beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer is amber colored and has a long staying small white head, with average carbonation. The beer has an aroma with tones of spices, fruits and hops. The taste is a little sweet with tones of candy sugar and some some hoppy bitterness in the background. The finish is a little dry and medium bitter. Not what I expect from a Christmas Ale. I miss the warming alcohol and the full body.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
33cl bottle. Clear amber colour with a thick white head. Peach, yeast and caramel in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is a bit boring more on the sweet side. Overall, a nice beer but hardly for Christmas.
