330ml bottle (Cambrinus, Brugge)
6 classic sweet mild blond aroma.
4 Rich orange, sticky doughy head
7 Yes, I know this is Haacht, but this is a quality blond. Rich malty body, gently bitter hops, good balance.
4 Full palate, smooth and a little sweet. Pleasant carbonation. Finnish gently hoppy, certainly quite muted, but they are real green noble hops.
14 Solid Belgian Abbey beer. Covers the alcohol very well.

Clear orange body (though it becomes cloudy at the end of the pour) with small white head. Aroma is sweet -- orange and butterscotch. Taste is moderately sweet, mostly orange. Also some yeast and spice, and a hint of alcohol. Beer is much improved in the second pour -- most of the flavor seems to have sunk to the bottom of the bottle.

A lightly hazed golden orange ale with a thick creamy big bubbled white head. Aroma of caramel, light orange peels, and coriander. In mouth, a very pleasant sweet malt, with notes of hops and curacao, medium bodied. Bieropholie import. BB 28-01-08

Amber orange color, small head. Malty, hoppy flowery aroma. Sweet hoppy perfumed flavor with a hint of tartness. Nice, but maybe a bit simple.

Tap @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours a clear golden with a small creamy white head. Aroma is sweet malty with a slight dose of spicyness. Quite full and round mouthfeel. Sweet taste with flavours of ginger, anise and vanilla. Nice and good - quite refreshing for a Belgian Christmas beer.

Pinball (11920) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 31, 2009
33cl bottle, brown and green label, 7% called christmas blond, double blond abbay beer. i hope it is the same as this one here. pours cloudy orange. lively beer but didnt get out of the bottle itself. large head that soon collapses. aroma of yeast, cheese, spices, alc. faint citric fruity note keeps it interesting. flavor is rather average or below average for a belgian beer, but it does taste good. nice harmfull blonde with no strings attached. end is very non-bitter, almost as if something is missing.
