Lubiere (9747) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 14, 2007
A lightly hazed golden orange ale with a thick creamy big bubbled white head. Aroma of caramel, light orange peels, and coriander. In mouth, a very pleasant sweet malt, with notes of hops and curacao, medium bodied. Bieropholie import. BB 28-01-08

dark orange colour, fine head, yeasty, very discreet aroma, oily and heavy, very long spicy and bitter finish - strange and disappointing (for a belgian)

330ml bottle (Cambrinus, Brugge)
6 classic sweet mild blond aroma.
4 Rich orange, sticky doughy head
7 Yes, I know this is Haacht, but this is a quality blond. Rich malty body, gently bitter hops, good balance.
4 Full palate, smooth and a little sweet. Pleasant carbonation. Finnish gently hoppy, certainly quite muted, but they are real green noble hops.
14 Solid Belgian Abbey beer. Covers the alcohol very well.

hopdog (8773) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 12, 2004
Poured a medium hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Small particles. Strong spicy & malty aromas with citris undertones. Tastes of oranges & spices. Sweet with a light bitter after taste.

MoritzF (8389) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUL 19, 2007
(33cl bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a fluffy, slowly lacing, tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet malty, yeasty and fruity aroma. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, malty and yeasty, subtle honey-fruity taste with a rather slim body; slightly fizzy on the palate; sweet and yeasty bitter finish with a tinge of alcohol.

Bottle. Golden brown with a small foam. Aromas are caramel malts with brown sugar and spices. Flavours are crystalised sugar with caramel. Quite soft. Has a decent foaming palate. OK.

Amber/orange; fluffy, yellowish head. Herbal nose, crystal malt, meaty and yeasty, however filtered. Honey-ish taste, with a harsh bitter edge; a herbal concoction from the pharmacy. Syrupy mouthfeel, again meaty impression. This is not exactly my favourite. Beer of very weak quality, tastewise.

150ml from bottle at Belgobaren in Stockholm. Light amber body with some white foam. Sweet aroma that reminds me of sherrycobbler. A lots of sweet, dark fruits in flavour. Tends to be a bit too sweet (03.12.2006).

Slight shady golden color, fluffy white head. Spicy herbal scent. Spicy, yeasty and sweet taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.
