4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
330ml brown glass bottle brought back from Belgium by Chrissie. Oh, so lovely. A high abv, high temperature fermentation pale malt beer without too much hops getting in the way. Soft melted plastic and honey nose, and smooth, sweet and fragrant mouth. Heavenly stuff - even better than Carlsberg Special Brew. A little bit of smudgy bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable, and very moreish. Lovely job.
