Scrapersnbeer (1478) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 7, 2014
Soft fruity malt aroma, a touch of wheat spiciness. Hazy yellow, plenty of carbonation, huge fluffy head. A lot of banana and spices for flavor, also tartness and alcohol. Foamy body, but not accurate to describe it a slight in any sense. Average tripel ale, wheat beer elements aside.

Gul farge med fluffy hvitt skum. Lukter malt, gjær og alkohol. Litt vinøs i smak. Smaker også godt at denne har 9%.

Korngul uklar med tynt hvitt skum. Malt og gjær samt noe alkohol lukt. Smaker alkohol, malt og gjær. Lite kullsyre, litt tam ettersmak.

Bottle. Pours clear golden yellow with large white head. Aroma is yeast, milk, peach, cloves and dough. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Body is dry and light oily with good carbonation. Finish is medium long with notes of fruit, caramel and yeast.

Borresteijn (4677) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - FEB 8, 2014
Sample from a 33cl bottle at Triple A’dam. Almost clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, light spicy, sweet fruits, malts. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, fruity, alcohol, quite some citrus, bitter hoppy and alcohol finish. Medium to full-bodied, a tad over-carbonated. Tasty tripel, the best of the four we tasted.

Bottle 33cl, a clear yellow beer, nose is on belgian yeast with banana and light lemon notes. Aroma is near a weizenbock beer, good malty basis, sweet, banana, wheat, phenolic, some spices such as paradise seeds, bubble gum, cardamom. Again banana notes at the finish with good bitterness and a peppery hops notes. Good beer.

Not a great beer. A lesser version of Karmeliet. Lacks the freshness or bitterness of a good blond.

33cl bottle at home. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, nice stable white head. NOSE: fruity, hoppy, grains. TASTE: grains, herbs, heavy bitter aftertaste, less good...

Pours a light yellow color with a clear white head. Aroma is really fresh, fruity and a little yeast. Taste is sweet, bread, grass and then some alcohol. Quite some carbonation, but not too much. Nice brew, would drink it again, but wouldn’t go through great lengths to optain it.

Nicely balanced triple. Spicy taste, but not long lasting. Seems sweetened
