75cl bottle. Nice, regular tripel. Pretty cheap and really good value for the money.

Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma is fairly sweet with some biscuit malt. The flavor is full of biscuit malt, sugar and toffee. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Golden yellow, with a sting of orange og light amber if you prefer. White head could have been more compact. Fruity and yeast aroma, with flowers and herbs. Light and fruity taste for a trippel, with fresh twigs, fruits, citrus and earthy flavor. Ends up with a mix of apples and citrus.

Bottle from National Brewery Centre, Burton on Trent. Golden amber beer with small head. Aroma of yeast, orange citrus and cloves. Taste follows the aroma along with the alcohol warmth and other spices. Very nice.

Yellow/orange with a nice creamy white head. Aroma is sweet, alcoholic, fruity yeast. Taste is very sweet, fruity, high alcohol finish, highly carbonated. Full bodied, smooth (almost syrupy). Ok tripel, but a bit sweet imo.

Bottle. Poured a deep amber with a solid white head. Boozy nose of cherries, liquor and a touch of citrus. Body nice and sticky, reasonably high carbonation. Tastes of dark fruit and caramel, with golden syrup in there too. A touch too sweet for mine, but solid stuff overall.

Smells strong of alcohol and fruits with hints of vanilla. Pours golden with a white light head. Tastes if caramel, burnt sugar and alcohol.

Aroma: zwak, fris, appel. Uiterlijk: blond, zwakke schuimkraag, mistig. Smaak: licht zoet, zuur, nasmaak: licht bitter, alcoholisch.

Panzerfaust (561) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - NOV 9, 2013
Bottled from Jumbo, Santiago. Pours a hazy amber-orange color with a big white and long lasting head. Aroma is fruity, malty and yeasty. Orange peel, coriander, pears, peaches and some vanilla. Mild spices and some concealed phenols. Taste is very sweet and fruity (pears) with some spiciness. Unfortunately its blemished by strong phenolic notes, especially in the harsh alcoholic finish. Big bodied and heavy. Could be better but it’s still a heavy hitter Tripel.
