3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20Tap - Dark amber color with medium head. Strong sweet caramel flavors, this beer is a light, easy drink, but maybe is a bit sweet. A beer that would be good over some nice ice-cream. Could be drank in all seasons.

Bottle- Pours a nice amber color with a nice head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, toffee with a bit of grain. Taste of roasted malt, some toffee and some caramel sweetness. There is a mild bitterness and a dry finish. Moderate body, mild crispness, quite smooth with a decent balance. Fairly average for the style, still good for a couple.

330ml bottle. Hazy light copper colour with a thin line of foam. Some faint toffee and malt aromas and the flavour carries some biscuit malt and caramel. A little thin and flat.

From a 330ml bottle on 17/9/2011. Pours a cloudy dark golden with almost no head. Has a slight sour, sweaty, yeasty aroma. There’s not a whole lot to report flavour wise, just a bit of sweet fruit and a mild bitterness. The palate is a touch watery. A fairly ordinary effort.

Not particularly attractive; hopelessly thin head and murky light tan in colour. Strangely fruity nose with a hint of chocolate. Very lifted but in some ways not dissimilar to the pale ale. Fruit drops away in the mouth to reveal a harder, almost sour edge of bitter chocolate. Kinda weird and not sure I get it. Has a homebrew feel to the structure.

Tap. Delicious beer. Aromas of roasted malt, cola, and nuts. Taste is sweet, with good length. Palate is silky, and medium bodied. Light amber colour, with a thin frothy head.
