| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Nov 14, 2009 345ml bottle. Pale and opaque straw colour with a decent snow white cap . Good carbonation with a skunky detergent aroma that does nothing to invite you in. Crisp finish with a very beery taste that reminded me of days spent swilling cheap mass produced beer in my youth. lasonovich (151), Australia
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 17, 2006 It like normal extra dry (which is fairly ordinary) with more alcohol. Good if you want to get drunk, bad if you actually like good beer. Slighlty metallic flavouring and lack of anything good going for it make it fairly ordinary all round. There are worse aussie beers out there but why do the big breweries make such bad ones at the moment, JAM3S (15), Thomastown, Australia
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 17, 2006 Although tasting rather mechanical, when over analysing this beer, many faults do arise. To enjoy this beer you must have the sole purpose of getting hammerd, in a not-so-classly fashion. This beer goes down reasonably smooth when drinking for effect and not comfort. Overall a below average beer for true beer lovers. farmboy (218), Barwon Heads, Australia
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Well CUB tried it with the Carlton Cold Shot, the Carlton Cold with a shot of vodka to send the alcohol content spiralling so our kiddies could get maggoted more quickly. Well it failed. It sucked. This version, while marginally better than the pathetic Carlton Cold Shot, is nonetheless a gimmick. Beer lovers beware. This stuff is totally useless, although it could quite easily be an alternative fuel for your car with the skyrocketing petrol prices. This stuff may actually start a car engine, but as a beer it just plain sucks. nate2g (1150), Brisbane, Australia
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Dec 16, 2008 Golden colour with diminishing head. Weak aroma of corn and brewing cereal. Thin bodied and high carbonation and slight dryness in the finish. fourxmate (10), Australia
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jun 7, 2007 Terrible, much much much worse then regular extra dry which is a reasonable drop. Doesnt have the body or flavor to support the higher alcohol content. One of those beers that half a hour later you’ll still have the same bottle in your hand, half empty, flat and warm. Best served chilled and poured down the sink. gam (1128), brisbane, Australia
