Commercial Description:
Tooheys New White Stag delivers on the Tooheys New promise of flavour, refreshment and easy drinking. Using Munich malt for full flavour, and brewed longer to ferment out more of the natural sugars, leaving only one third of the carbs of standard full strength beers. Late hopping gives a slight hoppy aroma to balance the malt flavours.

34.5 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and light malty. Sweet malt flavoured, light bitterness and malty flavoured into a smooth finish.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of dust, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, mineral, cardboard, and straw, leading to a dry metallic finish. The body is light. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle 34,5 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Sweet aroma of malt and brewing cereal. Very thin body, odd flavour of old bonbons and sour feet. Dry finish. Bad bad. 221109

from Bier-Bienne - clear bright amber colour, little beige foam; light notes of caramel, flowery; light to medium malt body; residual sugars and light notes of caramel in the finish - gentle

Bottle - Pours a light golden, fizzes up like lemonade before the head disappears. Metallic malt aroma. Very light on flavour , just a mild hint of malt. Having said that its not a harsh beer.

Bought this beer in Drinks of the world in Basel. Very similar to the normal Tooheys. Rather poor.

Basically Tooheys New with weaker flavour and less carbonation, which is actually a good thing. But still, I wouldn’t touch this crap with a 10 foot pole unless somebody paid me to. Another big pile of arse.
