Bleurgh! Tastes like fermented bat urine, and looks a bit like Iíd imagine that would too. Avoid it like the plague!

I enjoyed this one, poured a straw yellow, thin white head, aroma of malt with some floral notes, taste is malty with some hop flavor, slight tang at the end.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
375ml bottle at Outback Steakhouse with dinner. (The Tuscan Ribeye special is very good) Golden pour with a small white head--light nose of sweet corn adjuncts. This beer was weak, bland, watery and sweet. Nothing obnoxious or objectionable, just no real flavor or character. Weak, bland, watery and sweet. Typical macro style swill.

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2008 It had been years since I had a Tooheys. The other night, I got to re-experience this brew. All I can say is that time made this beer a lot more enjoyable in my mind that it actually was. Not a bad brew - something you can drink a lot of on a hot day, but donít go out of your way to find it. Had a metallic taste that lingered, but you soon grow used to it.
