Dank, stale minimal ’Pride’ aroma rose from a brilliant gold body, with no head. Palate and flavour were extremely light on, metallic, carbonic acid, harsh bittering hops. Sewage liquor flavour mid palate that repeats on you, hours afterwards. Awful, shit house conception, falsely advertised as beer!!! Crit (2417), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

The typical lager gold color with a thin white head. Has a slight malty sweetness to start complemented well by a medium hop flavor and just enough bitterness to balance. Not a bad lager. dreamboat (186), Brisbane, Australia
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 12, 2004 Pale straw colour, lightly carbonated with a small head which falls quickly to nothing. My nose was not having the best of times, but, there was bugger all to smell, just a hint of metallic hops. Pleasent enough flavour with some malt and a fair bit of hop flavour and bitterness for a megalager. Certanly better than expected. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 11, 2004 clear light golden colour. decent rocky head to start but faded quickly. had a light yeasty nose. fizzy dry yeast taste. slight lace bjd49 (2), Newcastle, Australia does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 9, 2004 Don’t sip this stuff, chug it. On tap, cold from the right pub, this stuff disappears like there was a hole in my glass. Golden, fruity sweet, light bubbles, with a dry tang that develops as one takes a big chug, then a good complex sweet/sour aftertaste and a refreshing cold burn in the throat. Oops, it’s all gone, another please. Loses a lot if bottled, forget cans. Not many pubs get it just right. Burner (78), Cape Town, South Africa
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 28, 2004 Boring Australian lager, marginally better than VB and Fosters. Simple no exotic flavours, far too sweet for my palette. Easy to drink as you don’t quite know what you are drinking. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Oct 18, 2004 Clear golden colour with a minimal white head. Aroma of pale malt and some skunk. Light-bodied, just as you expect with little else. Taste of a typical macrobrew with some noticeable hops and hardly and malt. Aftertaste plain and bland, at least it wasn’t overpoweringly bad! Overall, a typical ’light’ you’d find anywhere, but neat to try because it was the ’REAL’ cheesy Aussie light beer. I sampled this from draught a few times in Melbourne & Sydney during my trip to Australia.
