1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
I’m rambling back through the memorybank on this one, but it did make an appearance in New Zealand until Tui became nationwide and it was quietly removed from the shelves. I recall something, crisp, cold, pale and not immediately unlikeable. This was before I developed my palate, so until the next review of this beer it will have to sit in the memory.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Poured a golden amber colour with virtually no head, just a few white bubbles. Poor lacing. High carbonation - lots of bubble trails. Aroma of musty grain with virtually no hops detected. Taste slightly sweet with a very very mild bitter finish. Bland. Crisp, clean, sweet. Aroma, tastes and palate comparable with other large commercial brewery lagers.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
horrible beer, very carbonation, light cereal flavour, and almost magnesium like flavour, such a horrible beer, considering how good Tooheys old is.

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle and tap. Another boring mainstream lager, but with a tiny bit more malt taste than your VB. Serves a purpose i guess.

1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Another cheap easy to find beer, however with a metallic and waterery taste. It is one you drink after many other better beers at the end of the night

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Small white head quickly disappears. Clear slightly pale amber body. Faint paper and caramel aroma. Dry-sweet caramelly taste with sugary notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish cardboard and caramel aftertaste with mealy grassy notes. It’s mostly decent. (0.375l bottle, Taste, Hang Hao, Hong Kong.)
