1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 floydian1 (481) - FNQ, - OCT 31, 2009
Draught (served too cold as is the Australian way). Appears clear yellow with a small white head. Nose is light malt with an unpleasant soapy character. Tongue is similar with a metallic finish. No hop presence to speak of. Don’t bother.

Very little to say about this. Weak malt aroma, weak malt taste. Rubbish. About the same as every Australian macro beer.

375ml bottle. Pours a dirty gold, with a thin bubbly head. Aroma is corn and soap. Taste starts with some corn, then soapy malt and lemon washing up liquid on the finish.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 flying_pig (267) - SCOTLAND - SEP 6, 2011
Bottle (375ml in Walkabout):
Dark golden to light amber, fluffy finger sized head with okay retention.
A sweet blandness about the smell with lots of grain & corn with faint hops.
Skunky, bland tasting beer. Other than some corn, bread and some syrup there wasn’t much else of note coming forward in this beer. It had a mild bitter finish & is too skunky. It’s light bodied & almost water like. Crisp & dry in the finish.
This one was a struggle to finish & if not for the blandness of it I probably wouldn’t have. Australian lager has a lot to answer for.
