No thanks... Better than XXXX, but best left to 18 year olds who can buy 30 stubbies for 20 bucks....

Just like tooheys blue, sweet chemical taste, rough as guts to your taste buds.

There was a period in about 1997 when this beer used to cost $20/case and every share house in Newtown seemed to have a case of it in the fridge. I used to think it was ok but then I tried it after about 2 years and now I can concede it is an awful tasting beer. And I’m definitely not fussy about the taste of the beer that I drink unlike SOME people who will remain nameless (i.e. Dominic Ford Ross of 33 Pine St Newtown)

Crap, Crap, Crap. a typical Loiun Nathan brew...tasteless, flavourless and totally unexciting.

The only people I know who drink this are those that think CUB is the evil empire. And the price is no argument - even Hahn Ice is less unpleasant, and cheaper

Don’t let Motelpogo or Eczematic fool you: they showed up at my joint about three years ago carrying a case of this crap. Some simple reasons why: it is the cheapest full strength beer that is easily available in Sydney; it tastes so crap that you make sure you throw it back fast; its got a deer on the front even though it isnt very deer (about 26 bucks these days); and it isnt some poofy shit like Crown so you dont need to get embarrassed when you put the empties out for recycling.

Second rating in Can: Says 4.2% ABV. Same appearance. Couldn’t smell the can probably because the aroma is pretty bad to start with. Flavour is the same foul stuff and why is called a Bitter when there is bugger all bitter in it? - its another drain pour my friends.
First rated in Bottlle 11 Sept 2002, 0.9: Light amber gold under a smallish medium lasting head. Very faint stale hops and hint of something floral as it warms. Light body. Very faint and short lasting burst of watery bitter followed quickly by a weak floral hop and corn nectar sweet middle finish. Bland stale aftertaste. A national embarrasment and even more embarrasing is that it’s not the worst.

Bad.... was marginally better once, but not by much. The kind of beer that is left behind at a party.

same funky smell as Blue. Deep golden color. As the others have said, yes, it is nasty. Has an artificial taste, chemical additives? Another disapointing offering from Tooheys. As with Blue, you think a brewer of this size could get it right.
