Commercial Description:
Red Bitter is a full bodied bitter lager brewed from the finest natural ingredients. The flavours of the finest Australian malt and hops produce a smooth, malty flavour with a tangy bitter finish

(Bottle 37,5 cl) Clear, fully golden with a nice, creamy head. Lightly malty aroma. Incredibly thin-bodied with slightly sweet, malty notes. Absolutely no bitterness. 020906

Canned. Clear fizzy golden, Yeasty and ashy. Sweet and unclean with notes of iron and smoke. No bitterness. Despites it’s obvious flaws it stays sort of remotely drinkable.

harsh chemical flavours, full bodied? are they joking. This a watery chemical mess with a harsh tinny, rusty metal finish. Blerrr.

375 ml bottle. Very pale golden colour. I don’t know how they get away with calling a million of the same beer "bitter". Aroma of dirty dishwater. Flavour is slightly swee, vegetal and overall, just bad. No redeeming qualities.

A beer that is neither red nor bitter. No aroma whatsoever. Rich gold color with a fleeting white head. There is an interesting mid-palate bitterness, I ust admit. This quickly subsides to the sweetnss of the beer before finishing with a harsh residual biting palate.

Pale golden, clear, medium head. I wouldn’t go so far as calling this "foul", but it is pretty boring. Sweet malt is really all you get for flavour (the same as all corn-adjunct, over-processed pale lagers on the market). I wouldn’t choose to drink it again if an alternative were available, but I wouldn’t turn it down if the beerfridge was empty on a Friday night. This is my standard review for all "two-star-or-less" piss.

Light amber coloured body with a large soapy white head. Aroma of fresh malt, hops and a bit of metal - not too pleasant. Medium-bodied; Full of carbonation - a lot of malt and a mild sweetness comes up front. Aftertaste shows mild tastes throughout - some alcohol, a lot of malt and a little sugars and hops. Overall, a very mild and refreshing beer. I sampled this 375 mL (odd size) can purchased from the Duty Free section of the airport - near the United gates, in Sydney, Australia in Sydney, NSW on 27-July-2008, sampled on 13-September-2008 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
