TURDFERGUSON (1021), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Mar 5, 2008 Sampled at the brewpub. Light reddish amber with a thin white lace. Good malty nose with a bit of sweetness from the honey. Solid and refreshing with no off flavors. I was impressed with this one. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Feb 24, 2008 Date: 02/02/2008

biznizness (670), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Feb 23, 2008 Pretty good brew here. Definitely some butteryness, a little bit sweet but not overly so. Drinkable and good. Yerm. ChainGangGuy (1457), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Feb 13, 2008 Updated: Feb 24, 2008Appearance: Clear, light brown body with a full, foamy, white head.
Smell: Aroma of brown malts, honey, and buttery diacetyl. Sometimes the diacetyl works for me, sometimes it doesn’t, this time I’m digging it.
Taste: Butter-basted brown malts and honey with a slight sweetness. Mild spicy bitterness helps provide balance. Honey-butter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Good stuff! I regret not getting to spend more time at Chapel Hill’s Top of the Hill Brewery.
