TURDFERGUSON (1153), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Aug 8, 2007 Wow, this beer is straight up boring. I hate top of the hill and i am biased. But, the beer still sucks bigtime. this porter is no exception. Its really sad. This is supposed to be a restaurant and brewery, and instead of concentrating on brewing tasty, quality brews, these guys are more concerned with making lots of money off of unc’s fratastic elite. Fucking topo. Brown water is not a porter. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jul 25, 2007 on nitro-pours a retaining creamy light tan head and black color with red tint. Aroma is dark malt-coffee/faint chocolate-oatmeal, flat bitterness. Mild carbonation. tronraner (1432), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Jul 24, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Pours mahogany with tight beige head. The aroma is roasty coffee with some caramel and wood notes, maybe distant smoke. The flavor is earthy hops, mild coffee, and some creamy bitter chocolate notes. Slightly sweet finish with nutty notes, not much aftertaste. Not special, but smooth drinking.
