On tap at Top of the Hill. Golden colored with a citrusy aroma. The taste was full of hop, but felt very thin - there was virutally no malt there to provide any balance. I have to say I was disappointed with this one.

Pours a reddish color with an off white head. Watery malt, caramel, faint pink/orange citrus, and a little dust.

Draught in a flight. Pours a reddish amber color with almost no head. Nose is hoppy, but it smells like the hops have turned on it. Taste is similar, in that the hops taste old and no longer fresh. Not a fan.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 A: Nice medium-amber body. Large creamy egg-shell white head. Good retention and some spotty lacing left down the sides. Quite a bit of carbonation flying up from the bottom. Some floaties. S: Grassy and floral hops. Quite a bit of caramel malts are present here. T: Again, some grassy and floral hops are upfront. Only the slightest hints of citrus. Mostly malt, but not particularly rich or complex. Somewhat grainy. M: Lighter bodied and somewhat thin in places. The finish is a bit muted and not particularly crisp or bitter. O: A decent brew. But not something I am likely to seek out in the future.

Amber pour, small head. Aroma smells of metal, diacetyl, and oxidization-like caramel. Flavor is all the same; really pretty terrible. I actually sent this bad because there was no hop character whatsoever and I thought it must have been a bad batch or something, but I tried a taste on the way out after my waitress said the brewer had been in and tried it and there was nothing wrong with it. Well, I guess there was nothing wrong with it, other than it being a really bad IPA.

On tap at Top of the Hill. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a very small off-white head. Citrusy and floral hop aroma with some sweet malty notes. Flavor also has caramel malt on the base, rather standard hop profile that is mostly fruity/citrusy. Body is medium, maybe somewhat syrupy, and carbonation is average. Go Duke and GTHC!
