Bottle at Garyís bbq. A bit of a gusher leading to a very lively carbonation. Wheaty lemon, banana and a faint clove. Not bad for a UK hefe and another solid offerings from these dudes.

500ml bottle from beer52 classic dark hazy yellow with a massive white top, banana, candy sweets,. Taste is similar, banana milk shake, soft fruit, small sour touch on the finish. Very tasty wheat, touch on the sweet side

500ml Bottle from Aldi Supermarket (Scotland):
banana with clove & coriander plus some bubblegum & citrus notes. Hints of orange, lemon & spice following with a fresh & slightly tarty aroma overall.
Bright, cloudy amber to orange with a small, bubbly head about 0.5cm tall.
Banana & clove, albeit not quite as strong as the nose. Bubblegum follows with some wheat & citrus flavours plus some spice, various fruits & some floral tastes.
Smooth with a citrus tang & high carbonation, itís slightly sweet & easy to drink. It was a little lighter than I would have liked though but stayed lively & refreshing.

A surprisingly good offering & definitely worth a try but itís not as good as the more readily available German versions of the style so Iím not sure who this would appeal to other than those wanting to try a Scottish wheat beer as a one-off.

500ml bottle shared with mr_h. Hazy yellow brown, big head. Dry wheat lemon clove aroma. Banana lemon flavour. Bitter aftertaste. A Scottish hefe.

500ml bottle, cheers Dad! Bubbly white head disappears quickly, barely any lacing. Body is hazy golden. Nose is banana and bubble gum. Flavour has banana and bubble gum again, a bit bready, a little lemon and floral notes on the finish. Decent mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Hazy orange with little head. Aroma of apricots. Taste largely sweet over sour. Slightly formulaic but pretty good.

A very nice wheat beer with typical banana aroma. Delicious stuff better than many of its german rivals.

Opaque golden wheat beer with little head a slightly sour apricot aroma. The flavour is quite fruity too but pleasingly crisp so itís not overwhelmingly sweet. The disappointing thing is that there isnít that much depth the flavour and the aftertaste is slightly watery but itís still a rather enjoyable beer.
