Aroma - earth and a herb quality to the hop. Appearance - body is a mildly hazed amber. The head is 2+" and white and foamy. Head is fairly tight. Very foamy lacing. Taste - full of Columbus hops - fairly earthy, herby, and a touch of resin. Palate - medium body, touch of oil in the texture, average carbonation, slight bitters.

2/5/16. 12oz bottle thanks to cbfobes. Hazy orange pour with a nice khaki head, good lacing. Crazy aroma, dank, loads of fruitiness, something reminds me of a sour beer, weirdly enough. Light bitterness in the flavor, fruity, citrus, light tart citrus and tangerine aspect. Tasty.

Hazy dark gold to orange pour with a two finger fluff off white head that has great retention. Aroma is caramel, cereal, light biscuit, earthy, citrus, and light spruce hops. Flavor is sweet cereal, light pale caramel, earthy, herbal spicy and spruce hops. Medium, slightly juicy, mostly syrupy entry, medium, sharp carbonation and dry finish. Good stuff overall.

Bottle. Thanks, R! What an awesome surprise! Great beer, too. Pours a hazy medium golden amber with a loose whitish head. Nose is citric; oranges and maybe some kumquats. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Mild toasty caramel underneath a fair bit of oranges and other sweet citrus on the mid palate. Mild pleasant finish. Very solid beer.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazed orange pour with a medium white head. Aroma of earthy, dank hops with some herbal and citrus malt notes. Flavor is bitter hop presence with pine and herbal hop presence. Medium bodied. Above average carbonation. Finishes bitter. Nice.

Dark caramel orange in color... Aroma of caramel malts, citrusy and earthy notes... Flavor is herbal bitter hops over burnt caramel malts... Bottle is about 6 months old and it shows slightly in the hops, not the freshest flavor profile... Regardless, decent IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle to tulip. Pours clouded orange, white sticky head, heavy tiny sediment. Aroma of grapefruit, peach, biscuit, tropical fruit and dank. Taste of same with some caramel. Finish is bitter dank and juicy fruit. Mouthfeel is moderate with med carb. Finish is dry.

12oz bottle, thanks to Paul & Jamie (picked up last week for us). Split with Chris R. Dated 27 Aug 15. Pretty much totally hazy kinda darker amber orange color. Very many small pale particles in the glass, further hazing things up. Thin white head. Leaves great, thicker ridges of lace. Nice earthy, spicy, mildly citrusy hop to this. Better hop character than expected for this old of a beer. Nice kind of toasty, mild biscuity malt. moderate-plus bitter taste, lighter sweet. Medium-plus body. Very smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of a creamy texture. Mild dry finish. It may be the 1492 theme, but it drinks like an english IPA kind of. And itís impressive if thatís what it is. If just a regular single-hop IPA, then itís still solid, but with a bit of added earthy toasty malt.
