3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Brickhouse. Unfiltered, thick, yeasty, dulled tan body. Big, steady, creamy, off-white head. Yeasty and creamy on the palate, almost has a nitro feel...maybe the end of the keg. Really nice hop feel, but not as pronounced as some of its TG brethren. Earthy, grassy, cool, crisp hop feel approaching green onion, garlic. Good. Impressive Columbus display.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap in Decorah for the graduation dinner - when in Rome ... Pours a yellowish orange with a bit of a white head. Not much carbonation or lacing, although swirling created some temporarily. Aroma has heavy citrus, pine and resin. Eventually down the glass some caramel and a bit of honey showed up. Very hop forward. Taste is all bitter fruits; grapefruit, orange zest, lemons. Very bitter throughout, with bits of tangy pine muscling through occasionally. Very resinous. Medium bodied and sticky. Finishes extremely bitter. This is Ruination territory, but missing the depth. Shrug? Love the APAs of theirs, this was not a great intro to the TG IPA line.

Hazy medium orange. Lots of lace. Good creamy off-white head. Great moderate bitterness. Dank. Earthy. Floral. Caramel. Solid medium body. Great balance. Love how the sweetness and bitterness play. Quite outstanding. Really enjoyed this.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Craftsman, pours a hazy yellow with a thin head, the aroma has a good amount of tropical fruit and melon, but it doesn’t jump out at you like their other ipas, the flavor is earthy at first and finishes with some dank hops, good mouthfeel, just ok.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Crushed with Jakebra
Pours a light pale golden with a big head and nice lacing on the glass.
The aroma is big on melon & citrus. It’s plenty dank & has some alcohol forward notes.
The flavor is hop forward with some grapefruit like bitterness. It’s got plenty of melon character & a touch of caramel. It’s got a little more booze than I think works in the mix but otherwise I think it’s just fine.

From a growler, bottled in Hudson. A fine looking ipa, dark and opaque gold color with a thick head. Crisp and bitter citrus hops. Dry malt flavor with the bitter hops. Good.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Coopers in Madison. Dark orange juice looking body. Sharp pungent smell. Dank earthy taste. Very bitter. In a good way, it tastes like I’d imagine a fresh hop picked right off the vine with some dirt still on it would.
