3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by Travlr. Thanks Gene!
Hazy light orange body with a small white collar. Oranges, hops, alcohol. Tasty, though not as amazing as other Toppling Goliath IPAs I have had the pleasure to enjoy.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
650 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Hazy orange body with an ample white head. Smells heavily dank, herbal, dirty and earthy. Stupid columbus hops. Taste is equally dank. Grapefruit. Earthy and bitter. It actually tastes good. Medium body with medium carbonation. So columbus hops just don’t belong in any single hop beer, but this is still pretty good.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Wow. I’ve never had Columbus so fruity.herbal dank.overripe fruits. Same taste.pungent resin dank. Really nice Columbus character in this. Vivid. Very nice fruity ester undertones (yeast?). Columbus fan I am. Nice beer here. This is fucking nice assholes.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy golden with a thin white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is of perfume, fruits, candy and resin. Taste is of oranges and pine and moderately bitter. Body is medium and carbonation low to moderate. Earthy finish. Overall a pretty good but not mindblowing IPA. Toppling Goliath can do much better than this.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Soapy, hazed dandelion hue with a tacky head of white. Aroma’s got a deep mulled cider note -- cooked apples and oranges -- with a little orange peel and some parsley atop a base of rock candy. Herbal notes like parsley, oregano and maybe even a little lilac kick off the flavor, but they’re met at the swallow with a smooth orange-marmalade-on-crackers note that brings everything to a clean, balanced finish. Smooth medium-light body; soft carbonation. A drinkable-enough IPA, but not one that I’ll feel the need to return to. Columbus, it seems, is a hop that can’t quite stand on its own.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
pours unclear golden with a small white cap, some retention and lacing. danky peppery mangoes, melons, citrus, rose petals, celery salt, lean spicy maltiness, clean. light carbonation, light body - oily; balanced spicy-citrusy finish. above average ipa, but far from stellar.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
How: Bottle (22 oz). From Josh, thanks! Split 2-ways.
>>> Earthy/mineral IPA with a good malt backbone but not much aromatics hops.
+ Like most Toppling Goliath, the malt backbone is pretty good and not too heavy
+ Interesting mineral features that blend well with the spiciness
− Not much aromatics hops despite being fresh
− A bit boring
Flavors: Caramel, earthy notes, herbal, mild citrusy presence

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared. Hazy orangey gold pour with white head. Aroma is very citrsuy, tons of orange peel, lemon, lemongrass, light pine, bready notes, fresh lemonade, light cherry notes, mandarin. Taste is lightly bitter, tons of fruity citrusy hop flavors, nice juicy notes, pretty dank hoppiness. Palate is med bodied, light sweetness, smooth carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottlle courtesy of Jonh’s Grocery (Iowa City, IA). Nice to see them redoo this old school recipe. Pours a darker well hazed amber orange hue, hazier middle with some burnt goldlen pop on the edges and bottom. Frothy bright white head atop is a mellow fuller film, nice ringer with solid lacing. Aromas are distinct Columbus hops. Juicy citrus melange and fruit quickly moves to florals and pine, a bit of that catty goodness hits into the back. Gentle fruit, faint pineapple, earth, and bready malts. Fruity and juicy, a firm hop presence. Initial is lighter end of the fold, some firmer bitterness strikes the balance. Potent grapegruit juice and rind, bitter oils, pulpy juice and florals. Firmer bitter life with some earth, more grapefruit. Middle shows a faint jab of pineapple juicy life, earth and florals, bready malts and a bit of mellow cereal malt. Touches of florals, faint pine and a jab of catty life back there as we press on. A bit bready, earthy and dry as we wrap up, potent bitter life is floral, grapefruit rind and pithy life do some good work. A bit muddled in the malt realm and not as clean as some other TG products, but that is likely the only gripe here. This one ends up a lot better than I expected, lots of grapefruit presence, firm to potent bitterness, lively and bitter dry finish with some nice fruity jabs in the middle. While it’s not the prettiest pour, the beer is on point albeit perhaps a bit sweeter (from fruity like qualities) at times compared to other TG stuff. Still drinks lighter and cleaner than most other brewers. Nice. Seems my bottle ended up better than others.
