Single-hop IPA showcasing the Columbus hop.
Set sail with 1492! This unique single-hop IPA is brewed with all Columbus hops. Expect a bold, dank body, strong earthy aroma and a dry herbal bitterness that pack a mighty punch in the finish.

Aroma of lemon and hopps. Very dank flavored and lemony. Very easy to drink with a bitter hoppy finish. Pours copper with a thick cream head. Excellent IPA once again from toppling Goliath.

This was sent to me by Strykzone. Thanks Dave. Poured a hazy amber-orange color with a white head. Nose of tropical fruit. Some citrus. Medium plus body. The flavor is first trop;cal fruit, then some spice notes, and finally a touch of citrus. In general the tropical fruit flavors reign. The finish is somewhat bitter. This is a nice single hops beer and shows off the Columbus hop well.

Bottle thanks to Jackl. It pours clear deep copper with a decent white head. The fresh, clean, bitter - sweet, piney, varnish, stewed orange and peach. The taste is firmly bitter, pine needles, varnish, caramel, peppery, resin, peachy, orange with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. More malty than I expected. Fine, but not quite as good as others from these guys.

Pours a clear, golden yellow, with rather thin head. Aroma is very floral, with some spice and fruit (earthy is a good description, but didn’t want to just lift that from the company description!). Flavor is dry and bitter, with quite a bit of bitter lemon/grapefruit, as well as some biscuit and grassiness. Good IPA.

Amber body with an average head. Aroma of earthy and floral hop combination. 1492 - Columbus hop beer, the naming makes sense. Nothing out of the world, but a decent beer. Not a new discovery...lol.

A dark golden color with half finger white head. Smells of dank herbal hop, slight savory notes. Taste is a spicy herbal dank hop, medium bitter, not much sweetness, floral, finished with a tea like bitter that sticks on the tongue, a little bit of biscuit, flour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle poured hazy amber orange with a two finger head and nice lacing. Aromas of citrus, mildly dank hops, caramel, and hints of fruit. Medium bitter finish. Tasty.
