3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20Gold. Smells like herbs. Smoking herbs. Skunk. That’s about it. Sour diesel? Flavor is just that. Some caramel, some mango, heavy handed cbus is interesting. Finishes a bit too thin, but overall this one was fun.

Draft. Pours a slightly hazed orange amber color with a nice white head. Apricot and citrus nose with some herbal notes. Medium mouthfeel. An interesting brew as the columbus hops take center stage. Fruity and slightly funky flavor as the herbal notes kick in. Slightly earthy. Decent.

Tap at Toppling Goliath. This beer was freaking weird. I must say that Columbus hops really produce some strange characteristics. Pretty much sausage and onions with this one. Herbs. Oddly, it was also quite drinkable.

Tap. Pours hazy amber with a small white head and nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, herbs. Flavor is much the same, lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Medium bodied and buttery textured. Pretty good effort

Tap at the brewpub. Hazy slightly dirty yellow pour with a pure white head. Aroma is herbal - dandelions. Good palate with a nice hop bite. Enjoyable.

[On-tap at Toppling Goliath] Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is mainly peach and apple. The taste is brutal--quite bitter, and intensely herbal in a bad way. Not good. Medium-thin mouthfeel with a long finish. Overall, I really did not care for this one.

Draft at Sanctuary. Poured a hazy medium orange color with a white head. Nice smells...grapefruit, orange, resin, pale malt. Medium bodied and delicately sweet with moderate bitterness. Flavors followed aromas closely.

Tap at Blackstone. Big pine aroma, resinous and slightly dank, some grapefruit, floral and a bit grassy. Pours a hazy golden color, white head with average retention, thin lacing. Really nice hop profile with moderate bitterness - resin and pine sap, earthy, grapefruit and some orange. Some light grains and faint background sweetness. Light-medium body and medium carbonation. Another really nice IPA from TG.
