3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fresh bottle. Pours clear yellow/gold with tall white foamy head. Aroma is distinctly tangerine/orange though overall floral and citrusy. I taste a good amount of tangerine here with some resinous notes as well. Light on the palate and definitely easy to drink a few though the ABV is enough to keep me from doing so. Really solid - though I liked PsuedoSue better.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample from a 32oz growler. Thanks to Scott L. for sharing! Clear golden color. Thin white head. Leaves some loose splotches of lace. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Awesome big citrusy hop and light bready malt aroma. Very clean malt, good lightly piney, grapefruit citrus hop. Moderate bitter taste, minimal sweet, more dry finish. Nice, balanced, interesting IPA. Nothing about is too heavy or to over-the-top. Good light bit of lemony zest to it, too. Good refreshing balanced easy drinking stuff.

Pours hazy golden yellow with plenty of thick rocky head. Aroma pulls fast with citrus and Piney hops. Taste follows the nose with a malt backup. Finish is long filled with piney hops and a tad of scallions.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap in Decorah at the graduation dinner. Pours orangey copper with a white head leaving some spotty lacing. Aroma has oranges and pine and caramel. Later some other fruits join in. Taste is oranges, pine, pineapple, with some lemon zest bitterness. Some solid malt backbone. Medium bodied, some sticky and tangy. Finishes more bitter than bittersweet, but still somewhat balanced. A solid tasty brew!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2014 Bottle kindly shared by ratebeerony kraddel, Bierhuyske post-ZBF IV/2014. Label design points towards UK IPA’s, smell delivers a royal helping of exotically dosed Golden Nuggets: very fresh orange peel, lime and ditto’s blossoms. Taste builds on that, tying those aromas in into that perfect dry biscuit malt base UK IPA’S so far seemed to have an exclusive patent to. Lingering lime peel bitterness. Straightforward sparkling, shiny goodness without any flaws.
