22 oz bottle from de Bierkoning, shared at Beer Temple with Benzai & MarcodL. Hazy, pale yellow color. Big white head with large bubbles. Lots of citrus and resin in the aroma, with initially light plastic that disappears after the remainder in the bottle has cooled down. Retronasal there’s citrus, resin, dank hops. Flavor is moderate bitter, fruity. Light to medium bodied. Nice herbal and flowery bitter finish. Lovely, especially after cooling.

At Maakun’s. Can shared thanks to Maakun. Pale golden with white head. Very hoppy, weed, lemon, tangerine, sweet fruitiness, plantlike, green leaves. Under medium sweet with over medium but still mild bitterness. Fullbodied, chalky texture, very nice. A little licorice/leather/old shoe in the finish.

Can shared at home, thanks to Santa bytemesis. Almost clear golden with big fluffy lasting white head. Lovely smell of a field in spring. Light grassy, flowers, soft lime notes, grapefruit peel. After a few sips the deep bitter citrus peel notes are taking over from the more grassy and flowery aromas. There’s a light underlying maltiness with some caramel and a roasted touch. Under medium sweet and a bit over medium bitter. Medium bodied. Nice.

BOD 10/1/15. Clear golden pour with a touch of darkening amber. Outstanding head volume, world class lacing and retention. Outstanding nose of tropical citrus (mango, pineapple), peach, a touch of pine and orange over a subtle biscuit. Heavy light body that is smooth with a hint of oily texture. World class carbonation with an effervescent burst in the middle and a finely bubbled prickly finish. The flavor profile is borderline world class. It is masterfully complex and balanced. For the style, this hop flavor forward IPA is a bit light on bitterness. It begins with a wave of blended hop flavors that slowly separate into those of the nose. The tropicals lead initially, but orange, with a tangerine slant, controls the middle over a rising bready biscuit sweetness. Middle bitterness is rather light and has a rind and pine based quality. The finish is a tad dry and leaves you with a lingering citrus flavor. Alcohol is completely covered.

Bottle shared with BBGTC. Pours hazy golden, with a creamy head. Aroma is slightly bitter with hoppy peach, orange peel and nettles. Creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is bitter hops, with citrusy notes of orange peel and grapefruit, and tropical notes of stone fruits, as well as some malty notes. Lingering orange peel in the finish.
