COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This spectacularly golden, medium bodied IPA was crafted from a winning combination of Golden Promise malt and Nugget hops.

Fall in love with the big hop aroma of our Golden Nugget as it mingles with fragrances of citrus and evergreen, followed by a floral sweetness. Tropical fruit flavors entice your taste buds before immediately captivating you with a bold, hop forward taste and a pleasant bitterness that lingers in the finish.

Growler: Thanks, Corey! Pretty cloudy, burnt orange color with a large, foamy, chunky eggshell head that lasts for days & leaves tremendously sticky lacing all the way down. Aroma of floral notes, juicy grapefruit, citrus peel, general pungent fruitiness, light pineapple/tropical notes & a nice kiss of honey covered cracker malts. Taste is crisp with a sustaining, yet smooth bitterness. Hop leaves covered in tame white pepper, flower pedals, grapefruit flesh, mild pine, more pineapple & tropical fruit notes, a hint of bready malt, & mild hoppy bitter tingle that lingers in the aftertaste. Drinkable & certainly crushable with almost no sign of the 7.2% ABV. Very nice IPA.

Clear gold to orange pour with a one finger, creamy to soapy off white head that has excellent retention. Aroma is grapefruit, orange peel, fresh pine shoots, passion fruit, a little blackberry-like fruity note, some biscuit and light limestone minerality. Flavor is toast, cereal, biscuit and light seedy nuttiness up front, some oily toasted grain, a little grass, lots of sweet, fresh pine, grapefruit heavy citrus peels, earthy floral notes and some passion fruit. Light to medium body with a creamy entry, light to medium, blanketing and somewhat soft carbonation and off dry, slightly juicy finish. A very fine IPA, a rare example of one with lots of pine character that isn’t overly abrasive or oily feeling.

22 oz. bottle, consumed on 11-2-14. Pleasant but not so strong aroma. Floral, soapy, dry smell features scents of pine, bark, and a touch of armpit. Nice in aroma but not strong enough to earn a top score. Pours a clear gold/brass with light effervescence and a moderate to large amount of thick, light beige to cream-colored head. Looks pretty good but quite ordinary, perhaps a bit above average. Then the very good lacing sets in, and it bumps up the appearance score to a 4. Buttery and a tad mineral and metallic taste. Flavors of cookie, lemon juice, cracker, spring roll skin, cinnamon, potpourri, and other spices. A touch of lemon or orange Fruity Pebbles and orange peel. Lightly dry. Dry and bitter finish. I like the flavor better as I sip, savor, and contemplate its subtle complexities. Baked goods and flour-dry aftertaste. Soft and fluffy in the palate. Medium body. Very pleasant, nice palate effects. Overall, pleasant, delicate, lady-like (effeminate), subtle, likable, sophisticated, and well made. I wish it were more aggressive, but I do enjoy it. It’s a nice beer, above average in a good style, but the aroma and flavor are too muted to be great.

Bomber poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of straw, dank bud, earthiness and woody hops. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, earthiness, lemon zest and light woody hops with a crisp dry moderately bitter earthy finish.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate citrus, tropical fruits, light grapefruit, and a touch of dank notes. It pours a slightly hazy dull golden-orange with a small white head. The flavor starts with moderate citrus, tropical fruits, and faint pineapple. The finish has moderate grapefruit, light pine, faint dank notes, and a hint of lemon peel. Overall, this is tasty and way too easy to drink.

650 ml bottle thanks to Footbalm. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A big meaty citrus nose. The flavor is resin, hop flowers, citrus, quite dank at times, some light mango. Quite clean and flavorful. A solid higher ABV IPA. Quite pleasant.

Bouteille 22oz. Dorée claire. Nez tropical et résineux. Bouche sur le même profil avec une belle présence en bouche. Bue en parallèle avec Pseudo Sue et j’ai préféré Golden Nugget. Excellente.

Beautiful pour, bright and clean straw gold with two fingers of white head. Floral aroma with overripe fruit. Flavor show some of the same weird chemical-esque notes I got in the Pseudo Sue/other really fresh hoppy beers. Moderately bitter and medium light body.
