This spectacularly golden, medium bodied IPA was crafted from a winning combination of Golden Promise malt and Nugget hops.

Fall in love with the big hop aroma of our Golden Nugget as it mingles with fragrances of citrus and evergreen, followed by a floral sweetness. Tropical fruit flavors entice your taste buds before immediately captivating you with a bold, hop forward taste and a pleasant bitterness that lingers in the finish.

Difficult to find fault with this one, and after more than one, Im hardly inclined to. A nose that will knock your socks off, enough hop bitterness to satisfy your hop cravings, and a mouthful soft and full enough to keep this quaffable for a good session of beer drinking. Truly a great discovery in Iowa! I found this in a couple of places during our (my girlfriend/bride to be and mine) visit to Iowa City last week--Blackstone and Sanctuary. Worth checking out.

Bottle thanks to GoutGuy. Nose full of danky hops with green, wet hop character. Pours a very clear reddish to orange color with medium white head, excellent lacing. Flavor is initially moderately dank with lots piney hops. Somewhat sweet but otherwise a very plain and boring finish. Very good overall but nothing over the too amazing.

OK label, bomber. Misty, specimen gold. Vegetal, grassy hop aroma. Clean, not too hoppy, more of an APA. Medium to slightly light body. Thanks for the sample from some masked Ratebeerian downstairs @ Proof.

have had on tap several time but this is from a 22oz bomber. pours golden with a very small head. the aroma is a piney and citrus, and the taste follows cue with that, and wow it has a nice smooth tate and the flavor pops and lingers for a while after. definitely a standout IPA and one of the more underrated brews from TGB

Bottle split at Proof Happy Hour bottle share. Pale straw color with an uneven bubbly white head. Sticky legs and the head had some damn good staying power. Aroma is muted floral and grassy hops, grassy grainy malt and some tropical citrus. Taste is lightly bitter, but the sweet grass grain and floral/citrus hops play well together. Light body and low carbonation despite the big head.

Bomber pours slightly hazy golden straw with a creamy two finger head. Aroma is corn and fairly strong hops. Taste is nicely bitter with lingering hops. Another tasty brew from TG.

Aroma is dank hops, yeast and a small hint of sourness. The flavor is citrus, grapefruit, fruit, malts and a mix of bitter and tart in the finish. Kinda grows on me, very good.

Growler: Thanks, Corey! Pretty cloudy, burnt orange color with a large, foamy, chunky eggshell head that lasts for days & leaves tremendously sticky lacing all the way down. Aroma of floral notes, juicy grapefruit, citrus peel, general pungent fruitiness, light pineapple/tropical notes & a nice kiss of honey covered cracker malts. Taste is crisp with a sustaining, yet smooth bitterness. Hop leaves covered in tame white pepper, flower pedals, grapefruit flesh, mild pine, more pineapple & tropical fruit notes, a hint of bready malt, & mild hoppy bitter tingle that lingers in the aftertaste. Drinkable & certainly crushable with almost no sign of the 7.2% ABV. Very nice IPA.

On tap at Dexter's Pub. Pours clear golden color with white head. Very aromatic hops. Pine citrus and sweet malt. Taste is amazing, pine, citrus and tropical fruit with a great pale malt backbone. This is a tastebud burner in a good way. Floral finish. Medium body. This is a standout ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
