Inspiration for our newest Hop Patrol IPA comes from the House of Faun in Pompeii, Italy. At this site, some of the worlds most famous mosaics were preserved under layers of ash after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Just as Mount Vesuvius preserved the complex mosaics of Pompeii, this single-hop IPA preserves the luxurious taste of the Mosaic hop.

Bomber. Poured clear, lighter golden with a nice, lightly-toasted white head. The aroma picked up juicy pineapple, mango, and grapefruit hops over sweet caramel.. juicy and decadent.. loved it! The flavor found similar, with bright, well-balanced, tasty tropical fruits over sweet caramel and lesser biscuity notes.. finished with a nice blend of sweetness and tartness from the tasty citrus. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation on the palate.. very well-balanced.. excellent stuff!

Pours light orange with quick dissolving head, decent lacing rims the glass though. Aroma is citrus, tropical, pineapple and mango. Taste is big tropical fruit upfront, but the Mosaic bitterness is very prevalent, especially at finish; very crisp, very clean, resiny mouthfeel. This is a great beer.

Bottle mules back from Milwaukee. Pour is dark golden color with very little sediment. Stone is resinous pine. Flavor follows with a light hoppiness that finished just a little on the dry side. Overall, taste is very well balanced. Definitely recommended!

Bottle thanks to bacterial. Cleanish pale pour with some sediment, splotchy white head. Moderately sweet with tropical fruit and caramel. Bitterness is subdued (smaller than light speed it seems). Goes down easy. Medium body, slick texture. A different beast than my favorite IPA iterations, but Id happily drink a few of these.

Keg @ ABR. Light amver with an active head. Dried pine one. Very strong conifer. Some caramel. Taste skews dry. Light cereal sweetness. Floral meadow and Pacific Northwest woodiness. Some citrus. Medium body, active carb.

Bottle. Pour is hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is orange peel, light resin, jasmine, and light malt. Impressive, rich aroma. Flavor is very true to nose with orange, light floral notes, and a touch of resin. Really full bodied and well-balanced. Nice beer.

Thx pepsican randomgarbage. Pours a beautiful gold with a tiny hint of orange from enormous amounts of hops. Head is off white. Aroma is dank and wet hops apricot. Maybe Amarillo. Flavour is earthy hops with a very minor spice and the smoothest but strong bitterness. Finish is unbelievably balanced to only very slightly bitter. Wow.

Pretty nice, pours a medium gold, clear, good head, nice lace. ARoma is to me: sweet soft malt strawberry sums it up really ,with tropical fruits and citrus, spicey peppery and resin. Taste matches with more resin pepper. Nice ipa 5.5% could have fooled me taste is like 7.
