COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This single hop ale showcases the Citra hop. Named for the largest T-rex fossil ever discovered, she roars with ferocious aromas of grapefruit, citrus, mango and evergreen. Delicate in body with a mild bite in the finish.

Admin Note: Previously brewed as a 5.8% ABV offering, current and future batches are listed at 7% ABV per a tweak and translating the beer to a larger 30 bbl system. Tweaks may continue to change this ABV slightly as they settle on an official end product.

Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Pours a hazy orange-hued golden body with a small white head. Nose is catty herbs, tomato plant, citric peel, red berries, apricot, mango and hints of straw and lemongrass. Taste is wet grass, mango, citric peel, grapefruit and hints of catty herbs, red berries and straw. Light body, medium to high carbonation. Very refreshing and complex, with a strong herbal-citric base that keeps pouring out nice citric tones. Considering the nearly 8 months since this was brewed, it is a most impressive APA, probably worth its high rating. Nice indeed.

Slightly hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma has dank, slightly fruity, tropical hops. Taste is slightly malty and sweet at first, hoppy with some tropical notes but also floral and resiny. It’s fascinating how they pulled out all the major hop profiles from just Citra hops. Gets slightly bitter on the finish and aftertaste but not too much. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Really good overall but I think it’s a bit over-hyped.

Hazy amber/gold color; Medium slight creamy body; Aroma of fresh floral hops, rich citrus zest, pine, & some fruit; Flavor of slight sweet malt, pine/resin hops, rich citrus (notably orange rind & grapefruit), floral, and some caramel; Finish is dry & bitter; Nicely balanced; Simply awesome APA!

22. Thanks, N! Bunch of awesome surprises on a Saturday night. Pours a cloudy medium gold with a sudsy white head that sticks around. Big tangy sweet nose, showing lots of tropical and grapefruit notes. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty caramel, mango, pineapple, and grapefruit mid-palate. Long sweet finish.

Big aroma of apricot, honey dew, passionfruit and mango. Taste very hoppy and quite green, very resiny, this is incredibly hoppy and filled with floral goodness.

Bottle purchased at Casanova in Hudson. Golden orange with good lacing and a white quarter finger head initially. Nose has elements of pine and citrus but slightly understated. Taste has plenty of bitterness and floral undertones. Hoppy notes abound. Easy to drink with a pleasant finish. Not my favorite from the brewery but still very enjoyable starting the night type of beer.
