This single hop ale showcases the Citra hop. Named for the largest T-rex fossil ever discovered, she roars with ferocious aromas of grapefruit, citrus, mango and evergreen. Delicate in body with a mild bite in the finish.

Admin Note: Previously brewed as a 5.8% ABV offering, current and future batches are listed at 7% ABV per a tweak and translating the beer to a larger 30 bbl system. Tweaks may continue to change this ABV slightly as they settle on an official end product.

Bottle dated July 10. My first Sue. Pour is a cloudy Amber with aromas of citrus and grass. Medium bodied, malt balanced with citrusy hops aplenty. Very tasty and refreshing. I would however, like to try a super fresh Sue or one on draft.

Cloudy copper with a thick off-white head. Very thick lacing. The aroma is juicy citrus, with some resinous pine. Fruity flavor with some strong pineapple and grapefruit. Nice malt in there to balance. Not overly bitter and very nice.

Bottle, thanks to Mary and Craig, shared at Ebeneezer’s Tent Town bottle share. Really good usage of Citra. Nicely dry-hopped. Super clean. Juicy grapefruit and mango. A liquid form of dried mangoes. I enjoyed this. This one was from the new contracted place.

Really nice APA. Tons of fresh citrus, especially grapefruit in the aroma and flavor of the beer. Tried at the Craft beer tent at the Iowa State Fair.

Hazy golden orange pour with a thin white head and light sticky lacing .... Aroma of citra hops for sure! Nice mango, orange and grapefruit notes .... Taste is of grapefruits, mango and orange also has nice pine notes with a light caramel malt backbone .... Has a light bitter hop bite to it .... Soft mouthfeel ..... Bitterness is a bit more lively in the dry hopped finish .... Incredibly sessionable brew

Two 12 oz bottles, purchased and tasted several days apart. Bottled dates of 10 Jul 15 and 10 Aug 15. Poured into an Irish Imperial pint glass. Golden color, hazy. Moderate amount of visible carbonation. 1/2 inch of slightly off-white head that recedes slowly, leaving some lacing on the glass. Aroma is wonderful citrus and pine. Pleasant, inviting me to take a taste. Good initial body and mouth feel. Malt backbone is present, but so are the hops. Definite citrus "juiciness", but the dominant hops taste is pine that carries through the middle, with the bitterness asserting in the finish. Very well balanced, though, with the malty body continuing through to nicely balance the hops bitterness and to finish clean. This ale is really good. There’s been a lot of discussion that the Brew Hub / FL versions are substandard compared with the legendary Decorah brew, but these versions are really good.
