A nice hazy orange body to this citra hopped pale ale. Nice lacing, and aroma. Had on tap. Not much head, or retention. Definitely worth having again.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from box aroma, pours a Budweiser color with a nice white head. Pretty puffy head. Aromas of citrus fruit, some juicy hops. Taste is a nice hop expression, a showcase of the hop without unneeded bitterness or harshness. Pretty flavorful, tropical, even a bit sweet. Nicely done.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Growler sample via and shared with oakbluff. Cloudy orange in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of raw citrusy hop cones, under ripe peach and tropical fruit pulp. More of the citrus and tropical fruit notes in the mouth, along with some herbal and chalky elements. Light bodied and not very bitter considering the insane level of hops. Not at all balanced in the traditional sense, but who really cares? This beer is awesome!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Growler from Casanova’s in Hudson, Wisc. Pours a cloudy tangerine colour, not much for head, slight lacing. Nose- big blast of citra goodness. mangos, peach and other sweet tropical fruits. Taste- same tropical fruits come through from the nose along with pineapple and slight herbal quality. The pale malts add just the right firmness to the brew and don’t get in the way of the hops. Super fresh and crazy quaffable. The bitterness of the hops finally come through on the finish just enough to keep the mouth watering for more. Great stuff

Bottle courtesy of Bytemesis.. Thank you! A damn fine PA. Concentrated aromas of tropical fruit, primarily mango, with some pineapple, sweet grapefruit and cat piss. Enjoyable mouthfeel, weight and carbonation on palate.. with a balanced bitterness.. and a hint of sweetness, that really makes the fruit pop. Well balanced. Tropical flavors follow through on the palate, with layers of ripe mango, juicy peach, and a some bitter citrus/grapefruit/resin... Overall, an impressive, balanced PA, with a ton of fruit and complex finish... with even more complexities as the beer warmed. Glad I got to try this..

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
In short: A very dry fruity-grassy-piney blonde pale ale.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed fresh one week after receiving it from mcberko, thanks a lot Matt.
The look: Slightly cloudy orange-blonde body topped by a small white head.
In long: Highly aromatic hoppy nose with plenty of the usual tropical and exotic fruits that I get from Citra IPAs but this one has is a little less cat urine and a little more dry grass than more Citra IPAs I’ve had. Body is lean and crispy with an active carbonation. Malt backbone is very very crisp and with a very low sweetness sensation. Feeling of crackery cereals, dry biscuits, dry hay and dry straws. Then fruity hops (tropical, exotic, citrusy) with sundried grass and pine-cones. The hops fruitiness has a fruit skin character. Short bitterness of medium intensity. Too dry to be considered really refreshing but the drinkability is through the roof. Something almost attic-rustic in the dryness character of the beer. I loved that beer. I like beers that are as dry as my humor and I hope my father dies on Mother’s Day so I have great comedy material for that day.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On Tap from Brewpub. Aroma is very complex and instantly got my mouth watering. Appearance is slightly hazed yellow orange color with a thin white head. Taste is citrus and pine to start and a bit grassy on the finish. Good complex APA. Overall one of the best APA’s I’ve ever had. Liked it so much I bought a six pack of Bombers to go.

On tap at Dexters, and from bottle that same day. I believe the bottle was bottled less than 8 hours before I drank it, insane. Pours an unclear orange with a thick white head and awesome lacing through out, you could literally smell this 1. when my server was walking over with it at Dexters, and then 2. as soon as I cracked the cap of the bottle, amazing. Tons of citrus and grapefruit, so bright and lively, the flavor has a bright citrus front end with the tropical fruit in the finish, mouthfeel is nearly perfect. The fresh bottle jumped out at me more than the draft, but again that’s probably because it was just bottled today. Right up there with the best.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bomber thanks to joshmcg000. Slightly hazy gold pour with a 2 finger, creamy off white head that has good retention and leaves a little lacing. Aroma is loaded with tropical fruit, sweet citrus and some pine, small amounts of perfumey floral notes. A little toast, biscuit and maybe a hint of caramel are there if you really stick your nose in it, but mostly just awesome, fruity hops. Flavor is similarly full of tropical fruit, lots of pineapple and passion fruit, some nice ripe melon, citrus and a hint of pine. Aside from hoppy, fruity notes there are light, but pleasant notes, of biscuit, caramel, toast, sweet apple, a little bread and just enough minerality to the finish to give it a pleasant crispness. Medium body, with a nice, creamy entry, moderate strength, blanketing carbonation and off dry, crisp finish. Fantastic, beer, perfectly drinkable, nearly flawless execution and loaded with hops. After reviewing Zombie Dust a few days ago and this little gem today, I may be a bit spoiled on Citra APA’s. Thanks Josh!
