COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This single hop ale showcases the Citra hop. Named for the largest T-rex fossil ever discovered, she roars with ferocious aromas of grapefruit, citrus, mango and evergreen. Delicate in body with a mild bite in the finish.

Admin Note: Previously brewed as a 5.8% ABV offering, current and future batches are listed at 7% ABV per a tweak and translating the beer to a larger 30 bbl system. Tweaks may continue to change this ABV slightly as they settle on an official end product.

Cloudy golden color with lots of lace. Aroma of passion fruit and a little cat urine and some mango. Medium bodied. Taste is super juicy with a dry finish. Lots of passion fruit and mango. Man is this juicy, just exploding with tropical fruit. A damn fine beer.

At first taste I think what the fuck is the big deal? Nice citrus and a bit of grapefruit. But then it starts warming a bit and the taste explosion kicks in. Layers add with tropical fruits especially pinapple, then mango, then dank weed, then a nice hop bitterness. Citra hops rock.

Brewed in Florida and bottled in June, thanks to sarro for the trade. Hazy yellow/golden with a medium sized white head with good retention and lace. Juicy hoppy nose with lots of citrus and sweet tropical fruits; persimmon, peach, mango, apricot. Same goes for flavour where the citrus dominates but still has all the tropical stuff in the back with some light bready malts. Medium body, fine soft carbonation, filling sweetness, balanced bitterness. Really nice. One of the best APA’s I have tried.

Bottle dated July 10. My first Sue. Pour is a cloudy Amber with aromas of citrus and grass. Medium bodied, malt balanced with citrusy hops aplenty. Very tasty and refreshing. I would however, like to try a super fresh Sue or one on draft.

Cloudy copper with a thick off-white head. Very thick lacing. The aroma is juicy citrus, with some resinous pine. Fruity flavor with some strong pineapple and grapefruit. Nice malt in there to balance. Not overly bitter and very nice.

Bottle at home. Pours cloudy almost amber. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus and grassy. Juicy! Taste us quite bitter with a light malty backbone. Medium bodied and pretty crust. Excellent

Bottle, thanks to Mary and Craig, shared at Ebeneezer’s Tent Town bottle share. Really good usage of Citra. Nicely dry-hopped. Super clean. Juicy grapefruit and mango. A liquid form of dried mangoes. I enjoyed this. This one was from the new contracted place.
