This single hop ale showcases the Citra hop. Named for the largest T-rex fossil ever discovered, she roars with ferocious aromas of grapefruit, citrus, mango and evergreen. Delicate in body with a mild bite in the finish.

Admin Note: Previously brewed as a 5.8% ABV offering, current and future batches are listed at 7% ABV per a tweak and translating the beer to a larger 30 bbl system. Tweaks may continue to change this ABV slightly as they settle on an official end product.

Bomber thanks to joshmcg000. Slightly hazy gold pour with a 2 finger, creamy off white head that has good retention and leaves a little lacing. Aroma is loaded with tropical fruit, sweet citrus and some pine, small amounts of perfumey floral notes. A little toast, biscuit and maybe a hint of caramel are there if you really stick your nose in it, but mostly just awesome, fruity hops. Flavor is similarly full of tropical fruit, lots of pineapple and passion fruit, some nice ripe melon, citrus and a hint of pine. Aside from hoppy, fruity notes there are light, but pleasant notes, of biscuit, caramel, toast, sweet apple, a little bread and just enough minerality to the finish to give it a pleasant crispness. Medium body, with a nice, creamy entry, moderate strength, blanketing carbonation and off dry, crisp finish. Fantastic, beer, perfectly drinkable, nearly flawless execution and loaded with hops. After reviewing Zombie Dust a few days ago and this little gem today, I may be a bit spoiled on Citra APA’s. Thanks Josh!

Bottle courtesy of Hackobock. Thanks man! 3.5 months old according to the print on the bottle so expectations are rather low. Pours hazy tiny burnt deep yellow with a rather small offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some sparse spotty trace on the glass. Smell is fruity and grassy with crackers, white bread, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, lychee, moist grass, pine needles, leek, orange zest and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, tiny bitter, fruity and grassy. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, star fruit, lychee, prickly pear, moist grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. While its apparent the hops have faded from age this is still a damn good bright hoppy beer. No cardboard oxidation and pretty much the perfect malt base to give the hops room to shine. Basically drinks like bright tropical fruit juice. Hope to try this fresh at some point. I suspect it’ll blow me away.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden, small white dense head with lacing. Nose has maltiness and a light passionfruit scent, not as strong as expected - I’ve had this on tap and it had a much more assertive aroma, not sure why. Flavor is rich malt background, creamy, textured pale barley malt flavors - really good- with a middle and finish that are packed with lightly resiny pine and citrus hop notes. A really nice wash of dank alpha acids lingers extremely long in the finish along with a bit of bitterness.

Hos Johan w. Pigg och citrustoner. Ren och delikat. Hög hinkabilitet. Mycket välgjord. Len och fin beska. Försöker gå igenom förra helgens Sbwf 2015, vilket de flesta av oss var nöjda med.

Tons of citrus here, with a blast of stone fruit flavor of orange, apricot and peach, hints of grapefruit, lingering long with crisp, refreshing, lightly spicy hops. Fruit flavors keep pumping. Best pale I’ve ever tasted.
