Roasty, almond aroma, hints of dry chocolate with a mild but chewy oatmeal body. Take a ride on the Rover Truck!

Draft. Near black. Fair tan head. Mild sweetness. Fair roastiness. Tasty. Smooth. Great balance. Well put-together and Easy to drink like every other TG beer I’ve had. Was enjoying myself too much to put down any more notes..

Poured from a growler into a snifter glass. Aroma- Chocolate, oak/wood, and nuts. Appearance- Dark brown, coffee like head. Great retention with a nice lacing at the top. T - Similar to the nose but slightly sweeter. Some toffee and brown sugar hints. Subtle coffee notes that mix well with the chocolate/cocoa. A nice roasty malt flavor with a strong roasted nuttiness. Well balanced sweet and bitterness. Palate - Medium body with some carbonation. Very smooth, creamy, and sweet. Good mouthfeel that you expect from an oatmeal stout. Overall- Well balanced stout with a very smooth sweet finish. The malts and hops blend well together. A nice balance between sweet and bitter with a nice chocolate milk.

Pretty dark gold ale, almost black with a light tan head. Notes of chocolate (bitter), just a touch of hop fruitness, roasty, a bit of coffee. Much drier than expected, just a touch of sugar hanging out to stop this one from being too dry for the style. Earthy hop notes, toasty grains. This is quite nice. Carbonation lower medium. Pretty clean, mildly bitter finish. Quite tame.

Growler pour at the post DLD hotel bottle share. Light oatmeal stout. Mostly roast, some chocolate. Had that light stout over carbonation. Felt lighter than the claimed 6.6%.

Draft pour at the source. Pours a dark brown to black with a khaki head of foam. The aroma is roasty and ashy with a little caramel influence. Medium body and low carbonation.

Growler pour. Good and dry stout here with some subtle chocolate roast and oats on the back. Slightly thin, but in an OK way.

On tap at Dexters, pours a very dark brown nearly black with a light tan head, the aroma is pretty toasty with a little bit of chocolate, kind of toned down from the last ones I’ve tried, the flavor has a sweet front end with quite a bit of the chocolate coming through in the finish, good, just not mind blowing like the past few I’ve tried.

Growler from Nova, pours a dark brown/black with a thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate malt and roasted malts. Taste of slick chocolate with slight licorice, oats, sweet, finishing with bitter coffee and slight hop bitterness. A nice well balanced drinkable stout.
