Roasty, almond aroma, hints of dry chocolate with a mild but chewy oatmeal body. Take a ride on the Rover Truck!

Shared in line at NG. Poured almost black min head. Good roasty oat aroma. Watery light carb thin bod. Taste same with metal oat.

How: Bottle (12 oz) at home. Bottled on July 8th 2015. Shared by Minderbinder, thanks!

>>> A well balanced sweet stout that is rather dry chocolate forward for the style. Tasty.

- Dark brown with a small with light brown head and little to no lacing.
- Well balanced aroma that includes cocoa powder, roasted malt and mild fruitiness.
- The taste isnít too sweet and thereís an interesting caramel malt backbone to support other flavors.
- A mild acidic presence that is well integrated and gives the beer a nice refreshing aspect.
- The finish is of dry chocolate, which is a bit weird for a sweet stout, but it fits nicely.
- The mouthfeel is a bit chalky.

Flavors: Chocolate, cocoa powder, mild fruitiness, caramel, chalky notes.

Pours a dark, cola-brown/black with little by way of head. Aroma has some hints of chocolate and coffee, along with dark fruit. Flavor is dry, with coffee, chocolate, roasted grains, some leather, and kind of an "off" finish--hard to describe, but it isnít quite as smooth as Iíd expect, nor as sweet as some oatmeal stouts.

Bottle shared by "hannont". Colour...ebony with a thin khaki head. Nose...very roasty and quite nutty, with hints of cooked oats and Bakerís chocolate. Palate...an interestingly zippy start to this beer, which is followed by toasted oak, bittersweet chocolate and a dry feel. The mid palate gets creamy and the finish is equally velvety.

Strong chocolate and roasted malt notes. Hint of oatmeal. Perfectly balanced. Really like this stout. Smells like chocolate and coffee. Pours black with almost no head. Had out of a 12 oz bottle at home
