Shared in line at NG. Poured almost black min head. Good roasty oat aroma. Watery light carb thin bod. Taste same with metal oat.

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of cocoa, roast, some milk chocolate notes into a bit of dark fruit, slight earthy, spicy notes into a bit of oats. Taste was a mix of big chocolate, roast, coffee, hints of cocoa powder into a bit of spice, oats, slight fruit, finishing sweet.

On tap at TG. Pours a dark brown...khaki head. Aromas of coffee, dry cocoa, milk chocolate and roasted oats. Taste is slightly dry cocoa, with a counterbalance of milk chocolate...light coffee...and a sweet oatmeal backbone. Nicely done stout!

Pours black with minimal tan head. Roasted aroma and flavor with hints of chocolate. Creamy, chewy, awesome body and for finish. A solid simple oatmeal stout. Not gimmicky or complicated. This is a good smooth stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had it on tap once. Drinking from the bottle now. Medium dark body with minimal head. Chocolate oat aroma. Smooth velvety mouthfeel. Lots of cocoa taste with some roasted notes. Yummy.

Draught at brewery. Dark medium body. Big chocolate roasty tasty. While not a big body beer, very tasty.

Growler sample via oakbluff. Black in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are quite roasty, with elements of char, espresso, and dark chocolate along with a hint of red grape. Definitely chewy in the mouth with more roast, toasted nuts, whole wheat bread dough, and a stronger vineous element. Gets a bit chalky on the finish. Lots going on, but the sticky oat/bread notes don’t quite balance the roast. Average.

Growler from Casanova, 48 hours after fill. Pours a dark black with brown head. Aroma is wood, nuts, ash. Taste is roasted dark malts, coffee, a little sour, a little ash. I love this brewery, and I’m not a huge fan of oatmeal stouts, but this was a bit below average for me. Light overall with a thin palate.

On tap at the tasting room. Very dark pour, brown head. nice lacing. Moderate body for a stout--on the thin side. It’s got a tart, slightly metallic edge in it that cuts against some nice flavors. Good, not great.
