4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at Toppling Goliath. I must say, this is a world class pilsner. It was as good as the first batch of New Glarus Two Women that I had. Pours to a hazy golden body with a white head. The aroma is very floral and vibrant. Perhaps lemongrass and pineapple? Clean pilsner flavors of crisp bread and light noble hops with a subtle fruitiness. Absolutely perfectly executed. If I lived in Decorah, IA, I’d drink my weight in this beer each year...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft on tap at the 2013 Assassin Release (Decorah, IA). Pours a nice straw yellow hue, healthy buttery sun hues with mellow haziness, nice ring of bright white head sticks around, laces ok. Aromas are grain, straw, gentle dustiness. Bready dough and yeast, that Pils quality. Mellow yet fresh earthy hops with gentle yet growing spiciness on the nose. Clean, fresh, yet inviting. Grainy and bready. Initial is lighter end of the fold, a touch of girth in the middle. Bready malts, straw, and grain. Clean cereal sweetness, fresh earthy hops. Gentle yet growing spicy hops, earthy bitterness. Middle shows that girth, bready cereal sweetness. Backend dries it out, a touch yeast, straw and dry bready malts. The hops and earthy dryness, linger well into the finish with subtle spice, yeast, and a fresh mellow sweet bready feel. Solid.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
[On-tap at Toppling Goliath] Pours pale, golden with a nice white head. Aroma is just weakly sweet, and I’m not overly impressed by the taste either. Not crackery or dry, just sweet. Medium-thin mouthfeel, slightly below average length finish. Overal, very blah, and could stand to be dried out.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Poured a slightly hazy gold color with a white head. Nice blend of malt and hop elements in the nose that included the likes of fresh cereal grain, grass, and subdued grape candy. Light to medium bodied and delicately sweet. Very nice.

Tap at TG. Aroma is light malts, pleasantly grainy, some light spicy hops, a touch of yeast. Pours a hazy straw color, one finger white head with decent retention and lacing. Flavor is very refreshing, light grains, crisp hop flavors, slightly grassy, light-moderate bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation. Very nice brew, drinkable and refreshing.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draught at the brewpub in Decorah, Iowa. Pours a clear golden straw colored brew with a thin off-white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma is quite lighter than the Dorothy’s New World Lager. Some golden grain malt, grassy hops and a touch of apple. Taste is light bodied, light fruit with golden grain malt, tart apple and grassy hops. Finish has a slight medicinal spice bitterness that quickly disappears.
