Gold beer with a sticky white head. Big, fresh tropical fruit and hop candy nose. This is a juicy beer. Tons of citrus, mango, Mandarin orange, and hop Jolly Ranchers flavors, with enough malts to balance it out. Very fresh tasting hoppy beer.

CanIHave4Beers (2908) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - NOV 12, 2013
Pours a lightly hazy golden with a big head and good lacing on the glass.

The aroma is lots of grassy hoppiness, with some floral notes, and some light orange-peel. There is a touch of crackery malt lurking in the background as well.

The flavor has a satisfying level of hop bitterness & a nice clean toasty malt character. Basically on the drier side of pale ale with a good bit of bread crust along with citrus and floral hoppy notes.

Very enjoyable pale ale.

HonkeyBra (3114) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - OCT 24, 2013
On tap at the GTMW2013 PreParty. Pours a nice hazed copper color with a white head. Aroma is light, fruity, lots of floral notes and tropical fruit with touches of citrus and pine. Lightly bitter body with sweet bready malt presence. Smooth, easy drinking, some doughy sweetness as well as grass. Medium to light bodied. Nice, overall.

Tap at the Brasserie. Amber-orange pour. Nose is soapy grapefruit, fruity mango, and caramel malt. Flavor is a brief shot of mango and orange with light caramel malt that gives way to a sharp grapefruit rind bitterness and light pine. Dry, astringent finish. Some lingering mango and grapefruit bitterness. Average mouthfeel. Dig the hop presence in the finish.

Draft at TG. Amber, white head, some lacing. Bring floral nose. Huge floral taste, like drinking a flower. Some sweetness, light bitterness, crisp. Nice, drinkable, great for this hot, August Iowa weather. A little one dimensional (which is not at all intended in a negative way); well-executed.

Draft. The pour is a vibrant orange. The aroma is mild, have to really smell to get hops. The taste is has a slight bitterness to it. A decent pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at TG. Pour is faintly hazy copper with medium white head. Flavor and aroma and fairly muted with hints of citrus and resinous hops. No flavor dominates here but this is a bit more malty than most of the other hoppy offerings I have had from them. Not offensive, but not overwhelming either.
