650 mL bottle. Originally reviewed 1/26/2015. Hazy bright orange body. Nice white head. Chunky thick collar. Doesn’t smell the way I expected it to. It’s very tropical, but has a must or mineral aroma too. Kinda detracts. Doesn’t smell that sweet. Taste is much more dynamic. Orange, some piney hops, lots of tropical fruit. Grainy and a little bitter in the back end. Medium body, maybe pushing medium heavy. Creamy carbonation texture. Wasn’t enthused at first, but this really grew on me. Very tasty.

Bottle... Pours cloudy and yellow with a small, fizzy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is a fantastic medley of both citrus and tropical fruits. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and pillow-soft carbonation. The flavor features heavy-duty bitterness, tropical fruitiness, and is quite bready as well. Lengthy, bitter, yeasty finish. Bottle courtesy of ctipping!

22 oz bottle. The pour is a beautiful opaque golden orange with a thick bright white head and some with some spectacular lacing left behind. The aroma has a great tropical fruit blast and then it fades into a little danky hop blast in a nice transition. It almost has the presence of a fruit type of juice. Strange. The flavor is surprisingly dank wet hops. There is a little tropical fruit happening, but it's surprisingly good. The dankness threw me. It's also a bit simple. The mouth feel is a bit light, but really well-balanced and nicely carbonated. The aftertaste fades quick and leaves a little bit of a nice hoppy finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared with koleminer20. Aroma is tropical fruit, some pine. Appearance is golden, opaque, white head. Taste is tropical fruit, dank, piny, bitter end. Mouthfeel is great, softer carbonation, not overpowering. Overall, real real nice.

22 oz bottle courtesy of heykevin. Thanks, bro. Finally getting around to this one. Pours a nice hazy golden orange hue, decent haziness and darkness into the middle is a bit darker with some lice bubbles, frothy whitish head atop is a firm layer dying to a decent film, still full and soapy with decent lacing overall. Aromas throw that Galaxy life, cool green and melon elements meet gentle tropical wafts, citrus and earth. Firm florals, touches of herbal and white grape elements. Runs the gambit and really hasn’t faded much. A gentle sweetness, malt element gets hidden well here. Initial pronounces firm florals and bitterness, cool melon and tropical jabs are a touch sweet but still bitter, citrus and white grape meet florals, earth. That telltale Galaxy life. Middle has a touch of girth, gentle warmth as we start to roll over but the hop profile hides the gentle touch of girth and warmth here better than Imperial Golden Nugget. Backend is green, bitter and a bit tropical. Cool melon, earth and touches of grainy malts taper out with florals, a touch of lotion and decent bitterness sustaining. As the hops fade a bit on the backend the Galaxy loses some of that drive and live and shows some more base. But still, this one preaches a good firm hopping, fun potent Galaxy flavors and complexity. A bit soapy, fruity with gentle tropical wafts, good bitterness, touches of soap and some cleaner body and elements as we finish .This one is on to something. Still good flavors despite a touch of age at this point but I dig this.

Pours gold with white head. Aroma is tropical and citrus hop juice. Tropical fruit and citrus on the hop side. It got much more bitterness than the golden nugget imperial. Lots more interesting stuff going on. Really good. I prefer the golden nugget imperial I had before it though slightly.

Bottle pours a golden orange. Looks like juice in a glass! White as snow head that lingers as a cap and soapy lacing. Aromas are insane! Stinky cannabis, fresh flowers, papaya, passion fruit...so dank! Wow! Taste is almost as good. Lots of depth through freshly ground cannabis, mango, peach, papaya, bitter fresh cut flowers and a slightly acidic grapefruit note. Booze is fairly well hidden. This is a stand out in the TG Hop Patrol series!

22 oz. bottle from HeyKevin - thanks, Kevin! Pours a hazy pale gold color with a white head that leaves spots of lace. Notes of rindy fruits/vegetables (like the rind part of watermelon and pumpkin), onion, grass, straw, melon, and tropical fruit juice (mango, melon, and pineapple). Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a bitter, fruity mouthfeel. A bit of a letdown when compared to the other IPAs I’ve had from these guys.

Bottle thanks to Collin. Milky yellow pour with a white head. Tropical fruit hop aromas. Bitter hoppy notes with mild tropical fruit backbeats. A bit unbalanced but with just enough of a malty backbone to keep it honest. Good body and mouthfeel.
