COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Decorah’s main street, this beer pays homage to our original accounts, most of who reside on Water Street. Hints of bananas and cloves make this wheat beer a favorite. Easy drinking with tons of flavor, the velvet texture finish is reminiscent of the Upper Iowa River, which flows just down the street from the original brewery.

Cloudy dark amber to brown pour with a three finger off white head. Aroma is citrus, spicy and floral hops, lemon, bubblegum, banana, toasted wheat, light bread and grapefruit. Flavor is sweet wheat, banana, sweet tart and bitter citrus hops, bubblegum, big fruity and spicy hops, a little sweet cereal and a hint of clove. Medium body, creamy entry, medium, sharp carbonation, some hop acid bite and a slightly drier and slightly chalky, but still creamy finish. Really good stuff overall, nice hoppy wheat, maybe a bit sloppy and overly yeasty.

Cloudy amber/light amber.Short head. Belgiany aroma with spice citrus, cooked fruit, little bit of floral/pine.clove almost bannanay. Estery wheat yeast? Dry toast malt. Pepper. Same in taste strong citrus grapefruity grassy bitter.Tart/semi sour finish. Caramel malts.A different kind of wheat. Not bad. good for a wheat beer. Enjoy their labels.

Aroma is mild/medium hops, spices and a hint of wheat. The flavor is citrus, light tropical fruit/grapefruit, malts, a hint of toffee and a mildly tart/bitter finish. A little thicker and darker than expected, kind of a hoppy American Amber/Wheat.

From a bottle, in my dining room, just now...
Pours like the classic Toppling Goliath yeast starter beers. It’s sort of an orange color with a decent head. But man it’s murky.

The aroma is spicy & has some light hop character. There is a touch of clove and graininess... certainly some soap.

The flavor is pleasantly hoppy with a nice little bit of spiciness, herbal character, and lingering bitterness. It’s fruity with some lemon zest and light banana. It only comes across as mildly soapy.

Decent enough wheat ale.

Really hazy copper/orange pour with a small white head. Banana and cloves all over this one. Some husky wheat notes. A bit of smokiness. Some citrus and herbal hop character, tangerine. Bitter for the style, a bit too thick. Better carbonation than I was expecting from my pour. Finish is long.

Draft at the tap house. Aroma: light graininess and wheat malt, a touch of acidity, some traditional clove and banana notes. Pours a cloudy straw color, white head with average retention and light lacing. Nice refreshing flavor - light grains, clove and a hint of banana, light bitterness with little hop character. Medium body and carbonation, nice.
