Poured from bottle into snifter. Light golden color and big head. Pleasant sweet hops aroma with a savory buttery background. Taste is excellent as well. Perfect carbonation and mouthfeel and a great balance between malt and hop. Not too bitter but not too juicy either.

Bottle acquired via trade with ReeceG! So excited to try brews from these guys! 14 karat pour with a small eggshell head that left a decent amount of lacing. Dusty, dirty, earthy hops with grapefruit, orange, and tropical fruit. Decent but not world-class...

Bottle share at DLD 2014. Pour is golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma and flavor of pine needles, earth, light fruit, biscuit, danky, and some vegetable. Meh.

Grapefruit and sea salt on the nose. Bit of yeasty dough. Cloudy yellow in appearance. Tastes of grapefruit, banana, lemon, pine. A pretty great mouth feel--creamy but doesnít leave residue. Unique IPA offering. Think it deserves a higher rating than most have been giving it--just by virtue of trying to do something new with the tired IPA category.

Via trade with Reece. Pours murky and dark orange, nice fluffy white head. Nose was fruity with peach, mango, and citrus. I donít think it was as in your face as some of the other offering from them that Iíve had. Taste was lightly fruity and a tad sweet at first, but had a nice bitter to follow. I also got some hints of grass and pine in there as well. Split this with a friend as we sat outside and we both said it was quite tasty. Iíd drink another if I had one.

A: Very hazy pale straw, thick pillowy head that lingers. S: Predominantly canned pineapple with some kiwi, and orange. Some bready herbal notes with a slight skunk as well. Not a bad aroma T: Really doughy with a slight citrus tang. Canít really but my finger on anything else, maybe some orange? M: Medium body that is slighty dry with some light sweetness. Chalky.

Bottle with many thnx to Geoffrey . Pours yellow, unclear, with a good white foam . Smell has Peach , Oranges , bitterness , some hidden characters that remind me at nelson sauvin, though it is way hidden here . Rather intense , bit bitter . Taste is very fresh , mango-ish bitterness, bit dry . Oranges are very hidden now, in contradiction to the smell . Very drinkable, and exactly my amount of fruityness . the other IPAs I had by TG were over the hill, this oneís perfect . Perfect is also the perfect word to describe the perfect carbonation . Life can be beautifull, ha ...

madvike (3135) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - APR 5, 2014
Bottle - Pour lightly hazy golden with a filmy white head. Nose is dank and fruity, with more emphasis on the fruit. Dry biscuity malt and super pungent. Taste is a little more muddled, with a little onion and lots of tropical fruit. Still really tasty. Fluffy and fairly thin. Lovely.

Bottle shared at Duntís Tasting (Chicago, IL). Pours a well hazed amber orange hue, frothy thick offwhite head atop is soapy, sticks around well and laces well. Aromas are nice a fruity, good touches of melon, gentle grape, florals and earthy bitter hops. Touches of bread, gentle bready malt, florals and earth. Touches of citrus are more muted. Initial is a bit more muted, medium bodied, gentle carbonation with florals, bready malt. Mellow to decent bitterness. Touches of grapefruit, bready malt and gentle melon. Some firm florals, touches of tropical fruit, soap and earthy hops as we round the corner. Finish is a bit dry, a touch sweet and fruity. While the experiment is interesting, itís obviously a bit unfocused, losing itís way a bit. Ok. But I think some of the individual colors are much more dialed in.
