COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ipa with New Zealand Nelson hops.
This zeelicious single hop IPA showcases the rare Nelson Sauvin hop from New Zealand. Delightfully confusing aromas of citrus and mandarin oranges give way to an incredibly complex body of earth tones and marigolds. This is truly like any hop youíve ever tasted.

(bomber) Pours a super hazy orange color with a large white head that leaves sheets of lacing on the glass. Reminds me of an egg, so I guess thatís worthy of a 5. Interesting aroma here; fresh cut parsley, dill, capers, and first flush darjeeling. Really herbal. Some pine in here as well along with orange zest. The flavor is hard to describe, but what Iím mostly getting is some honeydew melon right up front thatís followed by a salty and earthy component. I guess itís kind of like mushrooms in a sense. Finishes fairly bitter with a slight tea-like astringency. Overall this is decent.

Sampled at 4 Hands Lupulin Festival 2014 - Pours clear golden with a white head. The aroma has funky / tropical hoppiness with some caramel and grass in there as well. It has a medium / light smooth body with mild carbonation. The flavor starts off grapy, catty and funky with the hops and some clean mild toasty malt hanging out in the back. The finish is fruity and dank. Quite nice.

Sweet citrusy nose leads to a bold bitter piney flavor. Crystal clear golden color. Good mouthfeel. Lovely beer for my palate.

Bottle @ home, courtesy tossed via Flair. Slightly hazed orange pour with a soapy white head. Smells of green onion, juicy grapefruit and orange, and huge pine. Slight biscuit malt note. Fairly bitter on the tongue. Some bitter green onion and garlic. Lots of pine and orange rind. Slight marmalade note. Huge resin on the finish. Not bad.

Bottle shared by Colin. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Light floral hop aromas. Crisp and clean with light florally hop notes. Good balance with just enough of a malt backbone to keep her honest. Good body and mouthfeel.

Bottle shared at RBWG 2014 Late Night tasting - Asheville. Pours clear gold with a white foam head. Big, dank aroma with piss, pine and grapefruit. Medium sweet flavor with moderate pale malt sugars, rich urine, orange, pine needles. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet and dank on the finish with rich pale malts, pine, grapefruit. Hefty, ballsy, still nicely balanced, delicious.
