Ipa with New Zealand Nelson hops.
This zeelicious single hop IPA showcases the rare Nelson Sauvin hop from New Zealand. Delightfully confusing aromas of citrus and mandarin oranges give way to an incredibly complex body of earth tones and marigolds. This is truly like any hop youíve ever tasted.

Bottle: Pours a golden honey color with a thin ring of creamy off-white head. I like the aromatics; a citrus and tropical fruit blend with floral and spicy herbal notes. Flavor is more herbal and spicy floral hops. Something in the tail hints at peanut butter. A decent flavor, but the aroma is so good... overall not too shabby for my first TG brew.

Word to ericteusink for opening this. A little more subtle and muted than alpine. Pretty nice to try these together. Cotton candy and bubblegum aromas. Really nice but a touch below alpine.

Solid ipa with a strong tangerine and citrus start and finish. Slight malt backbone to balance this one off. Smells of citrus and pours a beautiful gold color with a thick white head. Had in myrtle beach. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber poured a hazy tarnished gold with a lingering ring of off white foam. Aromas of straw, dank bud, grapefruit zest, pine and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of straw, dank bud, grapefruit zest and pine with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Light orange/gold pour, white head. Funky citrusy, grapey, tropical fruits, some bitterness and honeyed notes. Pretty decent overall.

A bit boring for how great of a brewery these guys are. The Nelson Sauvin is definitely noticeable but itís not as pungent as I hoped for. This is like if Alfred Hitchcock directed Alien and it ended up more like Aliens for some reason. Because Alien is way better than Aliens, you see.

Bottle. Pour is hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is orange zest, light resinous hops, light sweet malt, and light black pepper. Flavor is citrusy and floral with a slightly astringent component. Slightly sweet malt with lingering orange in the finish. A strange beer with a different flavor with each sip - always floral and always a little astringent.

Shared bomber to snifters. This is so unappealing and offensive to my senses of smell and taste. Nelson Sauvin is apparently not my thing at all.

Smells and tastes a little off. Canít get past it rancid. What is that flavor? Who cares, bye! The bottle calls it dankness and grapefruit. Yup, about right. Bye!

Lightly clouded, orange golden with an ample white head. Huge tropical fruit, spicy citrus nose. Slight pine resin aromas. Moderate bitterness, some lingering sweetness. Lively carbonation and acidity, medium-to-lighter body, moderately long finish. Excellent.
