Ipa with New Zealand Nelson hops.
This zeelicious single hop IPA showcases the rare Nelson Sauvin hop from New Zealand. Delightfully confusing aromas of citrus and mandarin oranges give way to an incredibly complex body of earth tones and marigolds. This is truly like any hop you’ve ever tasted.

Trade from Pandableh, thanks buddy. Unclear orange body with a medium white head. Light hoppy, tropical fruit juice, clementines, blood orange, pomelo. Light fruity bitterness, soft mouthfeel. Smooth. Wow yet another great beer from TG!

Pour out of bottle, hazy golden-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, dough into a bit of nice tropical fruit, some resin, nice orange and grapefruit notes as well, slight spice. Taste was a mix of spice, resinous, orange, grapefruit into some mango, pineapple, slight grass into some pine, finishing slightly bitter, dry.

Bottle thanks to Wrye and Fedex for actually delivering the beer to me on the second attempt. Pours a hazy golden orange with moderate white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is almost a little punky with some paper, slightly fade hops. Nothing I would ever pick up as tropical. Taste is more of a malty non-fruit forward IPA. Just not doing it for me and I love Nelson hopped beer. This just doesn’t seem to be one to me.

Thanks ericteusink for hooking up some dope ipas when our tasting are dominated by barrel aged stuff. Citrus, some tropical notes, clean malty profile. Light, medium bitterness. Good stuff.

22 oz bomber shared with ebone1988. The pour is a nice bright orangey gold with a big pillowy white head that falls off slowly, leaving incredibly clingy soapy lace. The aroma is really good. Subtle. There is a beautiful citrus juice blast up front and follows up with a big dank hop presence. Lightly syrupy on the back end. The flavor is really dank up front. It's a lot more green than I was expecting. Really leafy green. The Malta come in and take over about half way through before succumbing to the hops and citrus once more and it finishes hoppy and bitter, rather than dry. The mouth feel is creamy and lightly carbonated with a quick fading lingeringly hoppy aftertaste. It smells better than it was. Still great ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is dank, on the piny and earthy side, some citrus. Appearance is golden, opaque, white head, great lace. Taste is dank, quite tart, some pine, floral and citrus. Mouthfeel is nice, good carbonation without being too crisp, flavor hangs. Overall, it smells better than it tastes but it’s still very good.

Bottle: Pours a golden honey color with a thin ring of creamy off-white head. I like the aromatics; a citrus and tropical fruit blend with floral and spicy herbal notes. Flavor is more herbal and spicy floral hops. Something in the tail hints at peanut butter. A decent flavor, but the aroma is so good... overall not too shabby for my first TG brew.

Word to ericteusink for opening this. A little more subtle and muted than alpine. Pretty nice to try these together. Cotton candy and bubblegum aromas. Really nice but a touch below alpine.
