Ipa with New Zealand Nelson hops.
This zeelicious single hop IPA showcases the rare Nelson Sauvin hop from New Zealand. Delightfully confusing aromas of citrus and mandarin oranges give way to an incredibly complex body of earth tones and marigolds. This is truly like any hop you’ve ever tasted.

Cloudy and opaque with a light orange hue; sudsy head leaves behind nice lace. Full, chewy, milky texture is stylistically awkward, but I kinda’ like it, as it has a real-ale quality. It also has a really mild amount of carbonation. Malt side is cakey and doughy, along with some wheatgerm-like yeast flavors. Reminds me of some Northeast IPAs I’ve recently had, especially from Tree House. Hop side is fantastic: Juicy and citrusy (grapefruit, lemon, orange), with lesser notes of white wine and pine. This beer must have been hop bursted and/or dry hopped to high hell. Bitterness is balanced. Very nice IPA. I enjoyed it.

Cloudy golden orange pour with a thin soapy white head and light sticky lacing .... aroma of mostly oranges, earthy hops and light citrusy tones ..... taste is of piney and bitter dank hops, earthy and citrusy orange ..... some caramel malts on the back end a a bit of a bitter floral hop bite .... finish has a slight lingering bitterness and is dry and malty .... mouthfeel is a little slick and medium bodied

Cloudy orange pour with a single finger head. Aroma is very dank. Passion fruit comes to mind in describing the aroma. Medium mouth. Taste is full of grapefruit and passion fruit. Bitter finish, but not overly done. Nice sweet components really balance out that bitterness. Lace present. Another great beer from TGB.

Cloudy copper/straw pour. Small off-white head. Nose is herbal hop and mango. Medium/light body. Catty, resinous/ herbal/ earthy hops. Slightly pungent and very spicy. Another hop showcase from TGB. The malt bill all but disappears. Unique.

Bottle via and shared with oakbluff. Very hazy old in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of exotic citrus, melon, white wine, and cut grass. Very hoppy in the mouth as well with more strong citrus, gooseberry, and wild grass. Medium bodied with sharp bitterness. Tasty stuff.

Bottle. Cloudy cranberry-orange with a finger of white fluff. Nice aroma, leading with bold orange peel before notes of melon, earth, sunflower and saltine crackers roll in. The flavor carries aged citrus up front, but this disappears immediately at the swallow and is replaced with soft honeydew and white grape. Finishes very gently, with mild lingering bitterness.

22 oz bomber into a pint glass, received via trade, thanks Chad! Hazy pale orange appearance with sticky and lasting beige head. Aroma of hop spice, earth, citrus fruits, gooseberries and light grass. Similar flavor, adding floral notes, light spruce and toasted grains. Medium to heavy spicy bitterness with a medium body and a light dry finish. Juicy, refreshing and easy to drink. Nice IPA overall.
