COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ipa with New Zealand Nelson hops.
This zeelicious single hop IPA showcases the rare Nelson Sauvin hop from New Zealand. Delightfully confusing aromas of citrus and mandarin oranges give way to an incredibly complex body of earth tones and marigolds. This is truly like any hop you’ve ever tasted.

On-tap. A - Very cloudy/hazed straw gold color. Good sized, soft, fluffy, light white head. Good retention leaving a decent lace. S - Orange citrus along with bitter green onion and earthy aroma. Hints of sweet malt, but the Nelson hops dominate the nose. Some sweet tropical fruitiness. T - Similar to the nose. Pretty strong bitter hop flavors with the sweetish fruit and bitter earth and onion combating. Slight sweet malt background but this is definitely a hoppy beer. M - Medium body with healthy carbonation. Pretty refreshing feel with a strong bitter and slightly dry finish. D - Easy to drink. A bit more bitter than sweet, but overall well balanced. Very hop forward but not too strong. Notes: On tap at Sanctuary. Single hop IPA with Nelson hops. Nice IPA with slightly bitter taste, especially the earthy/onion type flavor. Not overly fruit, or overly anything for that matter, but overall nice.

On tap at brewery. Hazy orange/yellow with white head. Aroma is bright citrus, mango and orange. Taste is lots of citrus with some tropical fruit thrown in. Lightly sweet with malt hardly noticeable. A bit of a vegetal/green quality and a hint of mineral. Fairly big bitterness thar doesn't overwhelm. Medium mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow pour with white head. Smells of malt and hops. Tastes sweet on the front with a strong vegetal hop flavor. Different than any good I've had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Damn great breweries in impossible to get places. This beer is phenomenal. Made even better by the cajun BYOB restaurant this was consuned at. Aroma is grapes, pears, and citrus, with light cracker malts. Taste is dry fruity crisp lightly bitter and perfect. One of the best IPAs.

Pale golden, clear, some visible effervescence. Fine white foam, thin layer. Abundant diesel aromas, almost vegetal, radish, ginseng, earthiness. Garlic greens. papaya. Feel is lightly creamy, easy drinking, light calcium mineral flavor, light medium body. Finishes with a light melon sweetness. Incredible and extreme beer here defining a rich edge of sulfur-expressive hop use. So well done. This is the beer.

Bottle at Jester King Zwanze Day. Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor have some really nice tropical fruit and citrus flavors from the hops, as well as some grass and biscuit malt. Low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice.

Poured a clear, golden yellow, with middling head. Aroma of flowers and fruit. Flavor had a strange, astringent bite to it. Tasted a bit chemically or minerally. But there was the expected hop and citrus flavors as well. This wasn’t my favorite, but still definitely worth the try. Toppling Goliath is pretty amazing...

Finally! My first long awaited TG brew. Pours a golden orange, short dissipating head with light lace. Strong spicey resinous woody aroma citrus tropical floral. Same in taste, soft malts, strong citrus and wood. Dry toasted malt. Foamy mouthfeel seems like wheat malt in this too. Light buttery caramel malt. Citrus Juicy hop flavor. Very hop forward in taste and aroma. A bit flat/watery at times.
