COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ipa with New Zealand Nelson hops.
This zeelicious single hop IPA showcases the rare Nelson Sauvin hop from New Zealand. Delightfully confusing aromas of citrus and mandarin oranges give way to an incredibly complex body of earth tones and marigolds. This is truly like any hop you’ve ever tasted.

Growler. Medium and very hazy apricot colored pour, spotty head and a really nice aroma of fresh oranges and peaches. Flavor is dry and bitter woody peaches and grapefruit and just enough malt to stand up to some good creamy bitterness on the finish. Pretty damn good, and a steal at $10 for a growler fill.

Tap. Pours a hazy straw-yellow. Aroma is incredible, tons of raw onion, lemony citrus notes. Flavor is all Nelson, some onion in the flavor but mostly dominated by grapefruit, some passionfruit, white grape kind of fruitiness. Medium body and a softer carbonation. Extremely drinkable.

Poured from a growler that was opened hours earlier. Straw colored, no head. Aroma dominated by pink grapefruit, absolutely amazing. Flavor again is dominated by citrus hop notes. Medium body but nearly completely flat. The aroma and flavor of this beer is amazing, I wish I could have it fresh.

Tap. Pours completely cloudy yellow amber with a small white head that leaves great lacing. Aroma is passionfruit, cat piss, citrus/grapefruit. Flavor about the same, lightly sweet, medium bitter, with a bit of a yeast note. Medium bodied and quite tasty, but I like Nelson Sauvin hops...

On tap at Toppling Goliath, pour is a straw like color with minimal head. Aroma is some dank hops, some citrus and a bit of malt. Taste is lots of dank and resinous hops with a nice malty/cracker like flavor to it. Really reminds me of Zombie Dust, solid beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On-tap. A - Very cloudy/hazed straw gold color. Good sized, soft, fluffy, light white head. Good retention leaving a decent lace. S - Orange citrus along with bitter green onion and earthy aroma. Hints of sweet malt, but the Nelson hops dominate the nose. Some sweet tropical fruitiness. T - Similar to the nose. Pretty strong bitter hop flavors with the sweetish fruit and bitter earth and onion combating. Slight sweet malt background but this is definitely a hoppy beer. M - Medium body with healthy carbonation. Pretty refreshing feel with a strong bitter and slightly dry finish. D - Easy to drink. A bit more bitter than sweet, but overall well balanced. Very hop forward but not too strong. Notes: On tap at Sanctuary. Single hop IPA with Nelson hops. Nice IPA with slightly bitter taste, especially the earthy/onion type flavor. Not overly fruit, or overly anything for that matter, but overall nice.

Tap at Dexters pre party. Clear medium amber. Lots of berry Nelson hops in the nose and flavor, light biscuit malt presence in the flavor. Dry finish, bitterness at a 5. Mod carbonation with a light to med body. Very tasty. Will add more at the great taste.

On tap at El Bait Shop. Aroma is super potent and awesome. Plenty of hop bitterness of course, but it's very soft. Grapy. Pretty strong wheat flavor. Other than that, not much to say about this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

GTMW. Clear, pale amber pour. Aroma is slightly fruity, with a big, resinous, rustic pine that dominates. Great resiny pine and to a lesser extent grapefruit hop bitterness with a lighter fruit-like finish. Clean all the way from start to finish. These guys know hoppy beers.

Pours a very hazy yellow color with a small head.

The aroma is bright and pungent, plenty of grapefruit, brilliant fresh hops, spice, and pine needles are all present. The aroma is very hop forward and does a great job of presenting the multi-leveled character of the Nelson Sauvin hop.

The flavor is much of the same from the aroma with the pineyness, spiciness, and grapefruit. The beer is very dry, crisp, and leaning towards the high level of bitterness.
Delicious.
