4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler. Medium and very hazy apricot colored pour, spotty head and a really nice aroma of fresh oranges and peaches. Flavor is dry and bitter woody peaches and grapefruit and just enough malt to stand up to some good creamy bitterness on the finish. Pretty damn good, and a steal at $10 for a growler fill.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Big bottle from Casanova in Hudson on a Sunday with commonmac. Cloudy light orange with medium white head. Very strong grapefruit nose. Resin, hop. Then perfect balance of hop bitterness and a touch of sweet fruit. Finish is crisp and clean and nice, with small citrus. From A to Z , this is what an IPA is supposed to be.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Big bottle purchased at Casanova in Hudson, WI on a Sunday (imagine that). Shared by commonshawn. Moeder Lambic glass. Cloudy golden orange. Minimal head. Aroma is pure citrus with grapefruit and orange coming through. Taste has plenty of citrus as well. Grapefruit rind, hints of tropical fruit, bitterness. Really brings to mind a citrus juice you’d enjoy with your Sunday newspaper. Mouthfeel is vibrant and nearly acidic. Very nice finish when the sip is all said and done. You can really get a sense of the quality of this brewery in this effort. Not perfect but very well done.

Cloudy pour with citrus, apricot, orange peel. Refreshing brew.Nelson Saugvin is one of my favorite hops. This does not disappoint. Solid Brewer, solid hop.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a hazy light orange with thin film of head and good lacing. Aroma is tropical fruits, tangerine and grapefruit, along with a secondary balance of the sweet onion that works well. Taste is a good portion of the tropical fruit up front, then into a grassier middle, settling on a smooth bitterness that fades into a nice finish. Not sure if I’ve had a single hop Nelson Sauvin yet, but this is pretty artfully crafted.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours hazy light orange. Small lasting white head. The dense orange appearance is beautiful.
The nose has big orange peel, clementine juice, fresh lemon. Very citrus forward. Love the nose
Taste: this is potent hop juice. Big fruity taste, hop resin too. Bold Bitterness in the finish. The aftertaste is long with green, bitter, oily, mouthcoating juices. Overall the appearance and the nose was truly great, but taste did’nt quite live up to the nose and the aftertaste was just a tad bit too bitter for this to jump into 4+ territory.

Yes, its very good, but I really shouldn’t have drank this in a session that included alpha king. They’re very different beers, but the milder, more malt assertiveness of Zeelander doesn’t really mesh well with hop heavy Three Floyd beers.
